it was definitely a sad night tonight...I had to go to a long time friend's mother's funeral. It was a nice funeral at Makiki Christian Church. the best part of it all was that it was a "Christian" funeral where we all know that she's went home to be with the Lord and that one day we will see her again. so, anyhoo...I created two cards...one for my mom and one for me.
the blue card was created with the upsy daisy stamp set.
the pink card used the eastern bloom set.

not a best time to make cards but both cards are so pretty, Joy.
Beautiful card. Sorry to hear about your friend. I am sure she will be missed...but she is in the presence of God...and that HAS to be awesome!!

These are such pretty cards Joy! I hate to make cards for funerals.
So sorry to hear about your friend's mother passing. =(
Love your cards. Sad occasion, but those cards will surely brighten their day.
It hurts deeply when a loved one is lost, but praise God for the peace the family has within, knowing that she is now rejoicing with our Lord. TFS!
Very pretty cards, Joy. I love what you did with the CB folders. How it was utilized in two different parts of your card. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Have a blessed day in Jesus!
