This "BAT's" for you...

...SIZZIX BATS...
I got a chance to stop by Teri's house this past weekend and I got to finish up the last of my Halloween goodies. I had these boxes that I bought at the last Island Social and I wanted to decorate them, but didn't know what to do. I was going to color some images, but it would take too much time. So Teri suggested that I try make these bats. They are super cute, but a little tedious to make. thank goodness I only had to make 9 of these =) I added some ribbon and a sentiment, voila I am done!
here's a close up of an individual Halloween treat box with my bat. I added some googly eyes to make it more cute! what do you think?
Happy Friday everyone! Please have a fun but safe Halloween! Enjoy the trick or treating but make sure the candy is safe before eating them!

Hanglar Stanglar Sweetie...

...POLKA DOT GIRL...
You may have already seen this on my BFF's blog...but I wanted to share with you this cute hanglar stanglar image that I turned into a card. I thought she is the cutest thing and that it would be better if I were to make her "BIG". I had lots of fun coloring her and I used my crystal effects on the polka dots to give it some texture. My bff's favorite colors are pink and brown, so there you go!
here's what it looks on the inside. I just stamped it with one of those kids quotes from Inkadinkado. they are the cutest sayings.
If you are wondering why there is a dot at the end...it's just dried glue and I am using it as my paper weight to hold the end of the card down =)
here's a "friendship" quote I found to share with you...
Happy Hump day everyone...so glad the week's half way done!
**remember that I do have kits for the Halloween clutch on sale for only $5. You get one set to make your own, the tutorial to make more and it covers shipping! thanks for your support!**

Halloween Treat Box...

...HALLOWEEN BIRGITTA...
So it's Thursday and I had my assignment all ready and done...but now that we are done, I will just share with you what I made. I wanted to make a box that I could put some goodies inside and give them to some dear friends. So I came up with this. I used my new nesties! this one is called: labels sixteen. I also used that cute Halloween Birgitta. I colored her in my purples, used some stickles and I added my PTI ribbon.
here's what it looks like once it's opened. I really like how this box turned out. it can fit a stamp, some bling and candy if you like.
Happy Thursday as it's my last day of work...we have another furlough Friday! it's nice to have a day off...but it really hurts the paycheck =)
till my next post...

Halloween Clutch...

...MINI PURSES...
Happy Hump Day everyone! I have been very busy...only now...creating stuff for Halloween! I know I am so last minute, but at least I am getting them done! So I wanted to share with you this cute little clutch bag. I went to my dear friend Teri's house and she was given this gift from a friend named Joyce. Well I fell in love with it and just had to create or should I say mass produce this cutie! As you can see I made 25 of these...well actually 35, but I gave 10 of them to my mom so she could share with her friends =)
here's a close up of a single one. I borrowed from Teri the spider web embossing folder, the bat punch and the all purpose ink - frost white. If you look @ it you can see a white shimmer. I just took very little of that ink and sponged it all over the bag. These products you can get through SU. so if you see something you like...contact Teri and she can get them for you!
Once the bag is opened...this is what it looks like. I used my craft velcro dots to close the bag. This is such a cute gift to give! not only for Halloween, but for any occasion. all you have to do is change the embossing folder. It is so easy to make...it does take up a lot of paper, but the final outcome is so worth it...well at least for me it was!
Have a wonderful day...thanks for stopping by and till next time..

The witches fly
Across the sky,
The owls go, "Who? Who? Who?"
The black cats yowl
And green ghosts howl,

Sketch w/ an altered CC Design

...KIKI HONEY...
Happy Thursday Everyone! I followed a sketch that I found. This one was a little bit harder for me because I got a chance to alter a CC design for this ONE POST ONLY! I am so lucky to get a chance to ALTER an image by swapping the head with a different body, but I wasn't allowed to WIPE AWAY anything. so with that...I was really challenged as these images are pretty much the same and it's hard to tell if you really did alter an image. here is the sketch I followed...
So I really had to look at my different stamps and I took one of my favorite stamps which is the "Honey" line - Honey Bikini...Love that her face is big and so cute and I do love that Puppy Kiki, so I used the body of this one.
Here's what she looks like...TA DA!
here's the full view of my card...I used pinks as October is Breast Cancer Awareness month!
I added my pink breast cancer ribbon. Thanks for stopping by and take care of each other.

Sweet Birthday Girl...

...SWINGIN' MAVIS...
So last minute...but I got to create a special card for a special girl! I got to help her celebrate her birthday too and so with that I needed to create a card right away. I didn't know what to do...then I remembered I just got in these cuties from Stamping Bella. I also remembered I saw a card on 1LuvnMama's blog and wanted to try it out. So I used my new nesties to cut the window out and make the frame...
here's what the card looks like from the side. the kitty is swinging. I also added a pretty flower and a hello kitty charm. She loves HK!
this is what it looks like on the inside. I tried to match it perfectly. so when it's closed, you don't know the inside is different from the outside.
hope you like what you saw...I really had a fun time making this card! I hope this made the birthday girl smile!

“This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life.”

Altered Birthday Card...

...JEWARD...
Happy Friday everyone! here's to another furlough and my last manly card! I named him Jeward as I used Jeremy & Edward from TGF's roll call kit. I wanted to use the hair of Edward for this friend as he has his hair spiked and then he dresses pretty preppy so I dressed him in Jeremy's clothes.
here's what my card looks like once it's put together. I used my crocheted ribbon, swirls punch and circle punches for the sentiment. added some bling and there you have it!
This was a fast week...I guess because I haven't been at home. I hope you all are still here. thanks for stopping by and for leaving me sweet messages.
have a FABULOUS FRIDAY!!!
