Desktop post-it-notes...

I decided to make these desk top post-it-note holders for my co-workers, my BFF, my family & friends and my daughter's teacher for gifts. I had lots of fun making these. I used my copics, dew drops and flowers...I used CS and DP for the background. this one went to my BFF.
so you can get this sitting Ava as a digital image from In Style Stamps. I love it because you can make her any size that fits to your project. I made this Ava 3" tall. I used the natural flowers from Roses on Paper (online), Creations Unlimited (Wahiawa) and A Place in Time (Kailua). I love to make her sit at the top of the frame like she's on a cloud of flowers =) this dress I used the copic RV06 Cerise.
here are the ones for my co-workers. I try to make things that they can use but can enjoy too because it's in their favorite colors =) so two of them like peach and one likes green. the copics used were YR15 Pumpkin Yellow and YG06 Yellowish Green.
here's one that's horizontal...I like to make both of them. with this one you can add a little more just because there's more room...so you can add a sentiment if you want...so that's what I did! this one is for my daughter's teacher. We have been blessed to have really good teachers every year, but this year, this one has been the best! she's really sweet and she also loves to craft too! I love to make things for people who can appreciate it =)
here she sits up close...I used dazzling diamonds on each sitting Ava's wings to give her some shimmer. I really had a fun time coloring each one in different colors. This one I used the copic R85 Rose Red for her dress.
happy Tuesday day everyone!
thanks for stopping by...
I enjoy reading your comments!

They are digital images, so you can make them bigger or smaller if you want to! I used my SU border punch, chocolate chip ribbon, CS and pacific point CS and my oval nesties. I used the SU sentiment from Simple Friendship!here I tried to give you a side view to show you that I popped up the fairy and the tree stump. I am really pleased at how it turned out =)

Gorjuss girl...thank you card

here I made 15 gorjuss girl thank you cards for Taelyn's party...I know I'm late!!! I had so much on my plate and I tried to finish Freida's (my boss) projects first before I did mine! UGH! I did 100 tags and 50 gift card holders for her grand daughter's 1st birthday party coming up! Well I liked the idea that Michelle had with her hello kitty invitations, so I made mine pink and black too! hope you don't mind Michelle =)used the stylized flowers embossing folder from cuttlebug for the background, ribbon from Papertrey Ink, border punch from MS and my nesties. I also used bling for her "haku" (flower headband in hawaiian) and the flower on her dress. the sentiment is from SU. So as you can see I used my copics and did my best to color black hair! yikes...I don't think I'll attempt that again for a while...it's just too much work for me! but thanks for the tips Jodi...Inked Inspirations!
hope everyone is starting off their week well!
I just had to share...Michelle had a "hat trick" (3 goals in a game) and I scored 1 goal for the first time in a long, long time~! I was so proud of myself! LOL!
thanks for stopping by today and if you haven't entered my blog candy, please leave a comment there so you have a chance to win!

SuperStar Taelyn & Fairy Ava...

Here she is...my SUPERSTAR! She had a smile on her face from ear to ear! I am such a proud mommy and I had to make this day as special as she is to me! She really wanted a balloon, so I got her a Hello Kitty one! She was so happy!

Taelyn has been blessed with awesome teachers for each year, but this year she was blessed to get into a federally funded program where she could learn different things and get help with homework after school and it's free...yipee! It's called Cafe' and this is her last day...As the school year ends, I have to thank the teachers...and what better way to do that, but to make something personal & homemade. This set is for Mrs. Johnson, the Cafe' teacher for this after school program. I saw those plastic frames on Enjoli...Stamping Under the Sun...so I made my own version. I also made her those cute little pails from Ben Franklin, filled it with candy and made her a thank you card...
here is the plastic frame...it's upside down so that it can prop up...added the post-it notes, dew drops and natural flowers...I also finally downloaded Ava from In Style Stamps! She's a digital image and so cute! She really makes this gift sweet! I colored her with my copics and used dazzling diamonds for her wings =)
here's my card...just wanted to make it simple but pretty. Used the butterfly from SU called Simple Friendship...
I hope Mrs. Johnson will like her gift! Hope everyone is having a great day...TGIF! thanks for always stopping by and leaving me such uplifting comments!

8 1/2 x 11 purse...

I got this idea from some other blog (can't remember where)...but I thought it was so cute, so I tried to make one for my BFF...I used the Imaginisce paper...used dark chocolate CS from Papertrey Ink and used some natural flowers...it closes with a velcro dot. I used some brads to hold the ribbon handles and for a more finished look.here's what the top and inside looks like. I decided to make the purse have a strap to close the top...it gave it a more "real" look =) added some little goodies inside...
hope Michelle liked her purse! I think I need to make more of these...it's so easy to make! happy hump day!

I used the 5th avenue set for this one...
I love this set, so simple but sweet...
I put them all in a organza bag and printed out the Happy Mother's Day for the tag and attached it to the bag. I hope they enjoyed it!

For my sweet MOM...

I am so bad...I only made my Mom her card Mother's Day morning...I had no idea what to make! then I came up with this...I used my new deckled rectangle nesties for the window, clear microbeads, blue chunky glitter & white beads...natural flowers...SU 1 3/4 circle punch, the blue jumbo punch and pink mega scallop circle punch from marvy uchida. added the sentiment and there was the front of my card!here's the gorjuss girl in the shaker from a different angle. I colored her with my copics. Blue is my mom's favorite color...so everything is in soft sky CS from SU. The DP is from SU too.
this is the first time I decided to decorate the inside of a card. I used some blue bling and I just bought a new border punch from MS at Ben Franklin.
I wanted to share a picture with you of my daughter hard at work...she wanted to color and cut out her own fairy for her card to grandma...isn't she so cute! I am a proud mom!
hope you all have a great Monday...
I have a couple more projects to share that I completed for mother's day.
thanks for stopping by!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you!
I wanted to create some special bags for my co-workers and family. I used the large deckled rectangle nesties to make the outside of the bag. I made the inside with a 7 x 3 CS for the pouch. I used the Papertrey Ink ribbon...I used the oval nesties too for the sentiment.
I put some lindor truffles for their goodies. Such a simple and easy bag to make! I am having so much fun making all different sizes and shapes!

Mushi's Creative Inspirations...

Look at what I got from...who else...my BFF! She made me this cute, adorable, darling, sweet Hello Kitty accordion folder...love that Imaginisce DP! Michelle made this with her stamp group, so she made one for me! isn't she so thoughtful! She just came back from her trip and she's right back into the swing of things...making crafts and playing soccer! I'm so glad she's back!
I also got all these goodies from her too...when she goes to the mainland, she always tries to go to Joanns or Michaels (since we don't have one here) and she looks for great bargins and wonderful stuff! She shared with me ribbon, border punch, brads, flowers, clips and coconut soap!
we both love the smell of coconut...I even like to eat coconut...ice cream, candy, etc! It's so yummy! Thanks Michelle for always thinking of me =) I am truly blessed to have such an awesome BFF like you!

With Deepest Sympathy...

So sad to make these cards...but when God tells you its time for you to go home...it's your time. So I had to make two cards...One for my friend Glenn...his father passed away and he's still on FMLA...I used the colors wild wasabi and chocolate chip for this sympathy card.my mom's classmate just passed away too...so I decided to use the same stamp set...5th avenue for the background but I used bashful blue w/ close to cocoa for this one.
hope everyone is having a good Tuesday.
tell your loved ones how much you love them...it's never too late to do it, so don't wait do it now!

Gorjuss Folder...

Of course I had to make one for my BFF...who finally returned from CA...yay! I asked if she would like some images of the Gorjuss Girls set 2 and she said yes, so I made her some and of course used Jodi...Inked Inspirations idea for the folder! This folder is so easy to make! I love it! so because its a Gorjuss Girl folder, I used the Gorjuss Girl on the front and made it into...of course...a shaker! I added some natural flowers...got the leaves from Linda...thanks again! used thickers and there you have it!
here is the folder from a different angle, the glare from the flash is gone. I used the CS, DP and ribbon from Papertrey Ink. colored her with my copics...used some stickles for her flower band and one bling for the middle of the flower on her dress (that's kind of hard to see)
it's Monday gang...hope everyone had a fun filled weekend! Live life to the fullest every day because life is too short not to! thanks for stopping by!
