Marci...

...SUGAR N' SPICE...
Here's to another work week. Thank goodness it will be short. I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend! hope it was spent with family and friends and that you made every moment count. I am slowly in phase two of redoing the bathroom, cabinets and flooring, so with that I am now packing up and moving out. I hope it doesn't take too long, but at least I am moving my crafts to an area where I can still craft if I have to. I am so happy about that. Any whoo...on to my card.
There is a dear juror who bakes for us every single day she comes in and so I wanted to make her something to say thank you. I found this cute image from La La Land called Sugar n' Spice Marci. She was perfect for what I wanted to make. So I created this card. I used my nesties, dyed seam binding ribbon, my ticket sentiment and colored her with my copics.
I then decided to make a matching shaker checkbook cover and pen. I am so glad I decided to buy them as digis. There's no waiting and you can make them any size you like =)
I also decided to make a note pad and I added a mini pen too. My set was complete!
Have a good week everyone! Tomorrow I will be posting for the C.A.T.S. sign up. If you can join us for the next three months, please do so. Happy Crafting!

It's another Monday and that means there is another Product Spotlight at the Stamp and Create store...this week it's Whiff of Joy. Everything in this section is 25% off. Go and check it out. I used the Cute Donkey from WOJ. I decided to make a tag with it as it comes with the To: and From: sentiment as well. I colored him with my copics, added some stickles, used my snowflake punch and some dyed seam binding ribbon. I created my own grass. I did watch a few videos on what to do and then incorporated my own.
Have a great week! If you get a chance to check out the other ladies on the DT at the Stamp and Create blog, please do so. These ladies do such wonderful creations!

Thanks to Linda who walked me through step by step on what to do...lol! I cut the letters out with my cricut and used the pooh font cartridge.
Have a wonderful weekend! be safe and have lots of fun! if nothing else, CRAFT! see you all back here on Monday...Memorial's Day!

Sitting Pretty...

...CONGRATS...
I have another graduation card for you. My friend and teammate from my women's soccer team just graduated from UH Law School and so I wanted to congratulate her on a job well done. As you may not be able to tell, that her favorite color is purple..lol! I love this Hats Off set from TGF and she reminds me of Jess (the graduate), so I used her. I used my heart doily, purple dyed seam binding, a purple flower and colored her with my copics. I hope she enjoys her card!
Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope your week has started of with a bang! I played a soccer game on Sunday and one on Monday. My favorite past time :) hey, did you get a chance to see Oprah? WOW! what a way to go out with a BANG! Amazing what fame and riches can do! I am going to miss watching her shows. Best Wishes to you!

Happy Monday...it's time for another Product Spotlight at Stamp and Create and this week it's S.W.A.L.K. If you like these images, they are 25% off, so stop off at the store and check it out. I used S.W.A.L.K. Time Out for my image on my card and used my nesties label seventeen for the shape. Mini Gable Boxes...

...SUNFLOWERS...
I wanted to make smaller gable boxes to give away as RAKs to some friends and because it was going to be at Teri's dad's 91st birthday, I thought why not use my Sweet Treats cricut cartridge and cut out some sunflowers. So that's what I did. I added some candies and goodies inside. I created a couple more that are going to good homes.
have a wonderful hump day! My daughter was so thrilled by all your kind and sweet comments! thank you so much for making her smile :) till next time, keep creating!

My daughter wanted to create her own thank you cards for two dear aunties. She decided to use Syren and I think she did a good job coloring them. She was so proud of herself and asked if I could post her creation. I said of course I can! So here it is. She made it in their favorite colors. I borrowed this stamp and now I am sure I have to get it! We love using it!

It's another Monday already?! Well at the Stamp and Create store, the Product Spotlight is MERMAIDS. So if you go and check it out you will find all different kinds of mermaids on sale for 25% off. Can you tell I love TGF? well I used Syren for my image. She's a little sassy and wicked all rolled into one.
So I saw last week on Mama's blog how to make this stand up card and wanted to give it a try. As you can see that's where I have been getting my inspiration from! lol! I love to see her creations! I used my nesties called floral doily motifs to frame my image. I added some half pearls to it. I made her sparkle with my stickles, colored her with my copics, added lots of flowers, butterflies and bling. I had to use that ivory crocheted ribbon that I love too. I also used my whimsy ticket die and sentiment and my flower burst border punch to finish it off.
Want to be inspired more? Please stop by the Stamp and Create blog and check out the talented ladies on the DT and their wonderful creations~

Friday the 13th...

...CREEPER ABBEY...
Do you know that today is Friday the 13th? It must be as I couldn't post this until this morning as blogger was down. Weird! Anywhoo...I decided to make a card for this special day and I also thought, why not and enter in TGF WOW sketch challenge this week. I used the new Creeper, Abbey. I just got her in the mail and so I decided to ink her up. Colored her with my copics and added a flower to her hair instead of the bow.
here is the sketch...
This is what I came up with...I used my gray CS from PTI, my pretty DP, crocheted ribbon, my lacy border punch and my label seventeen nestie. I even bought the splotchy from TGF and had to find a way to incorporate it into my card...lol!
Well Happy Friday everyone...and as we say it here...ALOHA FRIDAY! I am off to enter this in the challenge. I am so proud of myself as I finally go to play along with something! Have a wonderful weekend! Be safe and be back on Monday!

Rapunzel...

...Let Down Your Hair...
So my BFF had her daughter's birthday party this past weekend and her theme was Rapunzel from the movie Tangled. I wanted to make her a special and unique card. So I went looking for a cute image and found this. I then had to figure out how to use it on a card. This is what I came up with. I added lots of flowers and a charm. I was going to decorate her hair like in the movie, but then just stuck to clustering it all together instead.
here's what I did for the inside. I decided to make a pocket and have an insert. I didn't take a picture of the tag to stick in the pocket as everyone was busy writing on it to wish the birthday day girl a happy day! I love that sentiment as in this movie she doesn't know till later that she's the princess...so I thought it was perfect.
Well the week is almost over! Is everyone excited that Friday and the weekend is around the corner? I wish that we only worked weekends and had the rest of the week off! Well have a good Thursday and keep crafting!

A Mother's Love...

...UNCONDITIONAL...
Happy Hump Day everyone! Wow the week is going by pretty quick. We here in Hawaii have had so much rain the past couple days...more like a week or two with thunder storms in between. So what is there to do but create right?! lol. So this purse I saw from Mama's blog and it looked so cute that I wanted to try it, but of course the link was to a blog that didn't have any English writing, so I just winged it on my own. I added a cute sentiment from the scrapbook graphics and used my border punch for the front and the handle of the purse.
here's the side view. I wanted to use those fun flowers, but I didn't know it was going to be so big that it covered my lacey circles. oh wells. this one is smaller then the one Mama created and I used circles instead of hearts. It is probably easier with hearts, so next time I will try it with hearts...if I get a chance.
hope everyone is having a good week so far. I am enjoying it. Can you believe it's May already and pretty soon summer is here?! Well keep creating everyone as I love to see what everyone has come up with and I am always inspired!

A Mother...

...is like a flower, each one beautiful and unique...
here's what I created for my co-workers, my daughter's teachers and a few of my dear friends. I saw the pizza box on Brenda's blog and thought I should make a few of these. So I did. I added the fun flower that you can make from a SU die, I got the sentiment from scrapbook graphics and then I just added some pretty half pearls and I was done!
here's some of them that I made...I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the purple ones, shucks, but it looked like these =)
I hope the ladies enjoyed them. I filled them with some candies and sent them on their merry way! How did you celebrate Mother's Day? Hope it was a good one for all of you! Thanks for stopping by!

It's so hard...

...TO SAY GOODBYE...
Every year the Judges bring in new law clerks and sometimes they leave early because they found employment in their career. I do get to know these people and really miss them when they do leave. One of them took a job with the Prosecutor's office and so I am saying good-bye early. I decided to make another simple card.
the inside, I wanted to make something different. so I created a pocket to add the gift card. I tried to pop it off so it had a 3-d effect.
Thank you for stopping by. Today is my "aloha Friday" as we have another furlough. It's almost over and we will be back to long...5 days a week! but for now I am going to enjoy the last days I have for furlough. Try to catch up on my crafting projects or finish up other things. Have a good weekend! Happy Mother's Day to all you Mothers! From one mother to another...Enjoy your day! lol!

Butterfly Dreams...

...ALOHA CHESTER...
Happy Hump Day! One of my dear friends has left us and decided to move on to bigger and better things. I want to wish him Congrats and Best Wishes. So I wanted to make him a special card. I decided to make another 3 panel card. I used the colors blue and gray. Blue is his favorite color, so I went with that. I used my nesties and SU stamp set, added some butterflies and bling too.
I decided to make more space to write so that everyone could leave him a message, so I created more writing space on the left. I still created a pocket with bling, flowers and butterflies.
here's what it looks like once it's opened all the way. I added more flowers and butterflies and I wanted to add more sentiments too.
I am really going to miss my friend. I know that life goes on and people come in and out of our lives, but I know that he will remain my friend forever. take care and be good to each other!

Challenge...Charms

...FAIRY TALE WEDDING...
Happy Monday Everyone! This week at Stamp and Create there is a new challenge for the month. It's to use a charm on your card. I used the cute Wags 'n Whiskers fairy Angelica for my image. I added some pretty flowers, used my ticket sentiment cherish from Whimsy Stamps, a pink doily, stickles and 3 star charms to decorate my card. I also used the technique out of the frame and used my favorite lacey circles nesties to be able to hang the charms.
The Product Spotlight for the week is in honor of the Royal Wedding...I didn't own any image from that category but if you want to stop by the Stamp and Create store and get some, please do so. Also check out the ladies from on the DT at the Stamp and Create blog.
