Shaker folders...

I decided to make more folders with images, but these I added shakers to the front. I used the fairy from the Greeting Farm, natural accent flowers and thickers.
This one is for Rina...Heartful Stamping
I wanted to say thank you for all her support, love and understanding and for all her prayers for my family. We can't thank her enough. I used the oval nesties to make the window and the border around it.
here's the new flutterby Anya...I used this one for Jen...Pieces of Me. I also wanted to say thank you so much for all your support, love and prayers! I used the square nesties for this window with pastel beads and pink microbeads.
here is what the inside looks like...I used the MS border and sugar coated brads. I filled them with images from the Greeting Farm and Gorjuss Girls.
the last folder is for Enjoli...Stamping under the sun...I wanted to say thank you to her too for her friendship and generosity!
hope everyone is having a good week.
we are almost to the weekend! yay!!!
thanks for stopping by and leaving me comments...

Gorjuss Girls 2...

On Sunday...I had a game at 9 am...but I found out that Linda & Kyoko were going over to Denise's house for some fun cricut time! I wish I could have joined them! but since I couldn't I decided to make them these folders that Jodi...Inked Inspirations made for me =) but I decided a little too late to make it...so I went very late to my game...LOL! the girls at the field were telling me...what? crafting is more important! I just wanted to make them something. As Denise's favorite color is pink...I used the hibiscus burst...cardstock and ribbon from Papertrey Ink. The other two love purple...like me...so I made them their folders with purple!
I am so excited as the new Gorjuss girl set 2 came in! I decided to use the sitting one for the front of their folders...here she is up close! I need to put them on those foam things...but they are so cute! I used the DP from Imaginisce...fairest of them all line!
here's what the insides look like...I decided to punch the MS border and use sugar coated brads to hold them down. I gave them some images from...Magnolia, The Greeting Farm and the one Gorjuss girl I did mount. I hope they liked their gift!
hope everyone had a great weekend...
here we are...back again...it's MONDAY!!!
thanks for stopping by =)

Gorjuss Girl Double Shaker...

I finally got a chance to make another double shaker box! I took the one on one teachings of Mrs. Teri...Big Ideas from a Little Girl...and the instructions from her tutorial to make this for my daughter's teacher. I'm making this for the end of the year, but if you know me...I would be frantic trying to finish it all. So I decided to start early and do a good job on it and be happy with what I made...so let me know what you think =)
I got to see another double shaker box that Teri made for a friend and she used dew drops. I thought that would be a great idea, so I used that for the second shaker. the first side I used the microbeads and regular beads. Mrs. Chinen (Taelyn's teacher) loves pink and brown too. so I tried to stick to the color.
of course I had to use the gorjuss girls...she's so cute and just went perfectly for this double shaker! I used purple natural flowers, hibiscus burst ribbon from Papertrey Ink and I stamped and punched out the sentiment. I added some bling too! I had to use the Martha Stewart border punch for the dark chocolate CS around the shaker.
sorry...the pictures came out a little dark, but the flash was bouncing off the acetate window and giving it a bright spot...so I took off the flash and tried to brighten it when I edited the picture.
happy Friday everyone! hope you have a wonderful weekend! I just wanted to say thank you for all your kind and sweet comments that are left for me to read. I truly appreciate all of you and I am grateful that you leave me such wonderful messages. I count my blessings everyday and realize that life is too short to let a day go by without saying what I need to say. So THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

Happy Birthday Tony...

Happy Sunday everyone...
I just wanted to share a cute card with you!
we (Taelyn, Marc and I) went to lunch with their Uncle Tony at Bravos yesterday. We finally got to get together...it has been a while, but we got to catch up on old times. Tony celebrated his birthday, so I wanted to make something for him. I asked Teri to make some stamped images for me and she made a whole page! so I get to use Skater Ian more than once, but this is the first card I made with him! tell me what you think...
I used old olive cardstock for the base of the card...I found some DP from SU and I distressed the edges. I used close to cocoa and colored him with my copics! I used G99 olive for the green...I tried the blending method that Jodi gave me, but I think I need Jodi to show me how. I didn't get it too well...but I tried. I punched out some stars and sponged the edges. It's actually a gift card, but I forgot to take a picture of the inside.
here's a close up of Skater Ian...used some stickles for the star on his shirt!

Bravos in Pearl City...
we had a good lunch!
have a great day =)

Easter Baskets...

here are the last of my Easter creations! I wanted to make something special for the Easter birthday party...I had a family birthday party for Taelyn on Sunday. So here are my favors that I made with the Hello Kitty in the bunny outfit!
I used the scallop envelope die from SU to make the basket.
you only need two sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock...the width is 4 1/2" and the height is 5". If you use a 12 x 12 cardstock, you only need one! I used some DP for the border around the basket and I used the martha stewart punch. can you tell that I really like that punch? LOL! I love using this Hello Kitty bunny outfit because it's so much easier than the other one =) I put some bling in her bow and used sugar coated brads to hold the ribbon handle.
I took pictures of the HKs before I filled her basket...so it looks empty, but I added a butterfly in her basket. it turned out so cute! this was a fun basket to make! I hope I can make these baskets for another occasion.

thank you for visiting my blog today!
have a wonderful weekend!

Favors for the adults...

A little while ago my co-workers and I ordered some tins, so I used them for favors for the adults at my daughter's birthday party... I printed out the thank yous with my computer and used the mega square punch and the giga scallop square punch to make the tag on top. I also used the flowers I got from Jen's...Little C's online store, that Michelle picked up for me =)
here's a side view of the tin...so you can see how small it is...I filled it with japanese candy and used DP and the martha stewart border punch to decorate around the tin.
