Popcorn box Easter basket...

I was blessed to receive the line of these cute baby bunnies from my kind and generous friend Cami. If you haven't checked out her blog, please do so...you won't be disappointed.
I wanted to make some cute and different Easter baskets for some dear sweet friends. I ended up using the popcorn box die to make these and then I added my own handles to it. here I decorated the front with those cute baby bunnies from Sweet November Stamps. this one is with chick. He is really cute...I used my MS daisy fan border punch for the bottom of the box and used some flower soft for his tail. I added the Happy Easter sentiment from SU to the top of the box. here's the side view and I used my prima flowers with sugar coated brads to hold the handles into place. I was happy with how it turned out. hope the ladies liked the goodies I put inside.
I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have some exciting things to share with you in the up coming days...so stay tuned. have a wonderful day!

Cheeky Girls are BACK!

I wanted to try out the different shaped cards from Donna, Three Umbrellas...and I finally had a chance to do that since I had to whip up a card to give. I do love Rockabilly and she is "Just Fabulous" to color and create with...so I came up with this. I used my Label two spellbinders. Love those pearl earrings and flower in her hair! If you want to get your hands on these cuties from TGF, go to shop at Tamiko's...she gives free shipping over $25!
here's the side view so you can see what it looks like when the pieces are put together. if you need a tutorial...click here. Donna does a great one for you! Thanks Donna!
my next card is an easel card...and I used Shooter for this one. I wanted to make something cute but easy to make. I used DP from Imaginisce, my Label two spellbinders, MS border daisy fan punch, bling and those clear stars from Tamiko's. You can color them with your copics and it dries real fast. "You Go Girl" and create one for yourself!
here's the side view of my easel card.
Today is Prince Kuhio Day...I am off, but had to share these two creations with you and I also wanted to say here's a...

Thank you Cami for thinking of me! I had so much fun making these...as I they are easy to make, but also I love this new stamp!

Product Spotlight...Brads, Buttons and Bling...

Happy Monday everyone...here we are starting another week...I have more to share with you! This week at Stamp and Create...the product spotlight is: Brads, Buttons & Bling and they are all 25% off! so if you are in need of some really pretty embellishments...stop there and shop! well, I decided to use Ruffles Get Well Soon by Helz Cuppleditch which you can also purchase at the Stamp and Create store. He's so cute and I have wanted to ink him up for some time now. I saw a tutorial on a tent card on Cami's blog and really wanted to try to make one. here's Ruffles up close...I cut him out to pop him off the card, although it's hard to see.

here's my final project/card. I used so many different embellishments to make this card...faux suede ivory ribbon, jump rings, black brads, flowers, a button, half lilac pearl bling...I also used my oval spellbinders, MS daisy fan border punch, butterfly punch, SU punches and added a sentiment.
this is a side view of what the card looks like. It was really easy to make...the hard part is decorating the front. I hope the person who receives this likes it =)
I may be making more of these cards...so cute and perfect to send because it flattens into a square envelope. I made my card into a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" so that I could fit it in the SU square envelopes. I don't know if the USPS will accept square cards, but I am sending mine in a box to send some other goodies with it. if you haven't stopped by the Stamp and Create blog, please do so. thanks for stopping by...remember to be good to each other.

Audrey...

Thank you for this image!!!
This is a cute digi from TGF called Audrey and I knew exactly what I wanted to use her for! I think she is so cute and perfect for my daughter's 10th birthday invitations! My daughter does love pink and this image is exactly how my daughter is! a little bit girl-e, but a lot of tom-boy! I saw this gate fold card and wanted to try it out! oh how easy and fun to make! thank goodness I didn't have to make 90 of them like sweet Brenda...I just had to make 10.
I finally decided to use the pretty DP from SU. I was sorta hoarding them, but then I just had to use them. I love how it turned out.
I used my prima flowers, printed my own sentiment and I used the jump ring, chain and charms that I got from Stamp and Create store. I even used the butter cream shimmerz on her hat to match the gold CS I got from Munchkins. stickled her shirt and colored her with my copics.
here's the inside...I typed it on my computer and punched out some daisy fan borders for the top and the bottom to finish it off.
Happy Friday everyone...did everyone survive the week? this week was spring break for most of your kiddies...hope you spent your time making memories. Remember that no matter what you do...do it for the Lord...his memory of what you did good is the only one that matters.
Colossians 3:12 "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
come visit me next week...in honor of my daughter's
birthday, I will have some blog candy to share with you...should be fun!

So I know you must be sick of seeing these, but I really enjoyed myself making these mini desk post-it-notes and decided to make a few more for dear friends. here's what it looks like where the pocket is...
here's the front up close...
Everyone has been asking, so here are the measurements to this easy peasy mini desk post-it-note...hope you can understand and make this. it only takes one piece of 8 1/2" x 11" CS.
here we go...
***this is for your connecting piece and where you will decorate***
3 1/4" x 10" piece of CS
score @ 1", 2", 3" and 6 1/2"
***this is your tray in the front***
5 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece of CS
score 1" all around
**this is for your pocket on the back**
2 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of CS
score @ 1/2" or (measure @ 3 3/4"-easier to score)
then score @ 1" and flip to do the other side
to decorate...you need 2 pieces of 3" x 3 1/4" DP and a strip of DP 3/4" x 3 1/4" for the pocket. you can use whatever you may choose to finish up. put them together and decorate...you are done! Happy Hump Day everyone!
