Just Because I Care...

Taelyn's soccer coach is going to have knee surgery...so the girls on Taelyn's soccer team made her their own cards...so I thought why not...make her a homemade one! I used pink pirouette for the card stock...
the cuttlebug border embossing folder...
the giga square scallop punch, the mega square punch
and the jumbo square punch...
the stamp set: eastern blooms for the flowers and
the best yet words set...
I colored them with the pens to get different colors,
used dazzling diamonds and pearl raindrops for the middle.
I also used brown polka dot ribbon.
have a good Monday! =)

Hello Kitty Boxes & Gift Card Holders...

so I thought what a way to spend the weekend, but to make hello kitty boxes for my co-workers who participated in my daughter's fundraiser...so to say thank you...I made them these boxes in the colors that they like and topped them off with a hello kitty! so these are all the ones I made...
this one is for Mary...she likes green...so I made her one with designer paper that had green in it and topped it off with the hello kitty with bow to match...I also used the top note bigz die for the cover of the box...
so because they purchased gift cards for Taelyn's fundraiser...I thought what a better gift to give than to add two gift card holders inside their hello kitty box! I made one christmas and one happy birthday one...something that they can use...and another way to say THANK YOU!
here is what the inside looks like...just insert the card and voila!
have a good week everyone!

Stamping under the Sun...

It's time to announce the blog candy giveaway winner!!!
First, I wanted to say to you all who participated...THANK YOU so much for playing and for signing my guestbook and giving me such great responses!! So...are we all ready to find out who the winner will be? I have to say something first...I had so much fun doing this blog candy that I know I will do it again in the future...but I also realized that it is very hard to pick a winner. everyone had such great suggestions and tips on what a great blog should be like...and I will take all of your ideas to heart and use them to my advantage =) so without further wait, the winner is: ENJOLI BENNETT
girl...give me you email address so I can get information from you...
THANK YOU ALL FOR PLAYING =)
have a wonderful weekend!

What does your name mean?

I went to Creations by Corie and she had this on her page...I thought how cool is that? It was so good that I had to post it on my blog and share it with you =)

What JOY means...

You are fair, honest, and logical. You are a natural leader, and people respect you.You never give up, and you will succeed... even if it takes you a hundred tries. You are rational enough to see every part of a problem. You are great at giving other people advice. You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life. You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you.At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself. You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in.You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising. You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care.

Find out what your name means...
What's your name's hidden meaning?

Bella Rose Kitty...

So I decided to play again with another one of my hello kitty dies...this one is "hello kitty with flower"...I decided to use the bella rose paper for the dress and flower...I put red bling and one big green bling in the middle of the flower and I used dazzling diamonds for the middles of the petals of the flower...she turned out to be so cute...I made this one for my daughter...she loves hello kitty!here's the flower on top of hello kitty's head...
I found a tutorial on split coast stampers and it was titled "easy box tutorial" found here and let me tell you it was! It took a 8 1/2" x 11" paper...that's it! I found that it's easier to make the box with designer paper than cardstock because you can fold the creases easier and you eliminate one step of putting designer paper on the front and back of the box...it's already covered and decorated! So I made this for the winner of the "blog candy giveaway"!!! all the goodies are tucked away inside and ready to be shipped! I can't wait to announce the winner!
here is a side view of what the box looks like...here is the flower up close...
hope you enjoyed it as much as I had fun making it =)

Have a wonderful Friday...and TGIF!!!

Birthday card for Taelyn's friend...IRVIN

My daughter had to go to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese in Aina Haina...last Saturday.
I thought what a great idea to take the card that Teri made for me with Hello Kitty and turn it into a card for Irvin (Taelyn's classmate)...
I used whisper white cardstock...
4 1/4" x 10 1/2" card...
score at 2" and flip and score at 4"...
the cover designer paper...1 1/2" x 4"
the bottom half of the designer paper is 3 3/4" x 4"
I am using the mega scallop circle punch
with the jumbo circle punch...
I used the designs: Aloha Cuties from Nancy Kubo
@ Little Dreamer Designs for the surfer boy and the turtle.
The circles punches used were: 1" and 1 1/4" from SU.
I blinged the turtle's back and used
grosgrain stitched ribbon from SU.
I used the stamp from Wow Flowers also from SU.

Thanks for stopping by today...will post more later =)

It's going to be Kelly's birthday soon and so I decided to make her a birthday card...I love making her things because she truly appreciates all the hard work and time that is put into it. so I decided to make her this cute card! I used the d'vine swirls from cuttlebug for the background, the jumbo oval punch and the mega oval scallop punch and the pink polka dot ribbon. I used light pink rain drop bling for each of the cupcakes and for the corners of the picture. I used regal rose, close to cocoa and pretty in pink cardstock. I filled in the cupcakes and the stand with dazzling diamonds. this was such a fun card to make! I really love this stamp =)
have a wonderful weekend everyone!

My baby is growing up!

My daughter just took her 3rd grade pictures...
She's growing up...I love her so much! I used pink pirouette and chocolate chip cardstock.
floral embellishments with bling,
scallop border punch and white gel pen.
I'm giving them out to friends and family.
this is my baby...thanks for sharing in my moment!

Mini Post-it-notes Key Ring...

My BFF Michelle made me one of these a while back. I copied if from her and decided to make some for my co-workers. Made them personal with their first name intial. here's all of them together...
Amelia, Freita, Eleanor, Mary, Taelyn & Glenn.
I made this one for my daughter...she'll love it!
I used chocolate chip for this one and close to cocoa for the others. I tried to match the colors with the post-it-note pad on the inside.
I used the circle scallop punch, the 1 3/8" and the 1 1/4" circle punches...stamped them with hero arts clear stamp alphabet set and the white gel pen for the dots.
this is what it looks like on the inside...

punch a hole in the corner with the crop-a-dile,
put a key ring in it and you're done!

Enjoy and have a good Friday!

Baby Shower Favor...

So one of my co-workers sister is having a baby shower and wanted some ideas...I tried to come up with something...so I figure make a little box...
6" x 6" and score @ 2" all sides...
stamp the sides and then add your own decorations and filler. It's a boy...
here's the side view...stamped them with little booties.

5" x 11" designer bags...

So I decided to try to make the designer bags,
but with my own sizing...
I thought about how I could use all of the
designer paper without wasting.
so I tried...5" x 11" for the bag and 1" for the border.
that equals 6" and you can make 2 bags
with a 12"x 12" paper!
Voila! there you have it!
I made 2 bags...
one for a surprise RAK and one for a co-worker's daughter...

I wanted to share this with my co-worker's daughter...
her name is Julie.
so I made her this one.
A mermaid from punches and with red hair!
just like Ariel...my daughter's favorite princess!

I filled it with more nips candy...

made my own circle scallop tag to top it off.

here is the one I made for someone...a surprise RAK...

I used groovy guava for this mermaid's hair.

Here's what the filler looks like...I love that candy!

I hope she likes it when she finally receives it =)

thanks for stopping by today and

have a wonderful weekend!
