I was so blessed to have gone to the gathering at Denise's a couple months ago and Jodi was kind enough to bring her stamps and so I got a chance to stamp this darling Tilda! I have been wanting to color and create with these images, but didn't have a reason to. but I wanted to send a thank you card to Enjoli...that's been long overdue! She's always so sweet and thoughtful and is always sending me such wonderful RAKs! I am so grateful to her! So I wanted to say thank you to her for her friendship! I colored this cute stamped image with my copics, I used my nesties, prima flowers, dew drops and bling to add to the card...
I added a stamp inside the card...I hope Enjoli likes her surprise and thank you. Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone...Keep smiling!

Lisa's Birthday...
One of the soccer ladies that I play with on Leahi...well, she celebrated her birthday! I wanted to make her something small to give to her from me. I just got this CC design image and I wanted to use it...I do love it that it's a digi, so you can make it any size. I think she's so cute and perfect for Halloween coming up. I colored her with my copics and added the happy birthday sentiment. I hope she likes her card!
here I decided to make her a shaker checkbook cover with matching pen. I don't know what her favorite color is, but I used blue and green. I stamped the CS and the ribbon are from PTI. I love this cute image...I stamped it from Teri's stash. used my flower and bling to finish it off.

OCS with my BFF...
This month I was blessed to be paired up with none other than with my BFF!!! Michelle...Mushi's Creative Inspirations. I was so excited and then thought...oh no! What can I create? She does beautiful and creative work! How can I match her! what do I do? so I went online and searched for a layout to follow. I found one on Papercrafts by Rach and then I had to figure out the rest! lol! I just got the newest girls from CC designs and wanted to use the one with the ice cream cone! She loves pink, so I made sure I used lots of that color...I used DP from designer digitals, my prima flowers, cuttlebug embossing folder, oval nesties, ribbon from PTI and I found those plastic tags w/ sentiments on it...somewhere in my stash!
I hope those girls who decorate inside of their cards are proud of me! I finally tried to do one too! I know it's not as fancy...but I wanted to make this card special! I also wanted the words to mean a lot too...so that she knows how much I love her as my sister and best friend!
here's an upclose look to what this darling image looks like...her name is sweet Kiki La Rue! I used dazzling diamonds and I tried that white gel pen on her checks! I love how that turned out! I added some bling for her buttons and her shoes!
happy Tuesday everyone!
hope you are enjoying your week!
thanks for stopping by...I know I haven't been keeping up...I'll get a going!

Fun in Maui...
Sorry...no crafting pictures today...just some pictures to share!
So as most of you know...I had a Maui Co-ed Soccer Tournament this past weekend! It was some very hard fought and tough games...as we didn't come as prepared as we thought! we only had 4 girls and 8 guys to start this tournament...for those of you who don't know soccer too well...in co-ed you need 5 girls and 5 guys and the goalie can be either a guy or a girl. So as you can see we started out short...then we added one more girl...which still gave us no substitutions! with all of that...we still managed to take 3rd place! here's a picture of my daughter holding the award we got to take home...the next thing I need to do is to get the whole gang to sign it!
here is our team picture! I have to say...this was a great bunch of players and a close knit group. I am so hoping that we decide to do this again. I had a blast! here are the names of the players I went with and in the middle...Larry...the guy who ran the tournament...
Nick, Colin, me, Chris A, Larry, Ceasar, Dwain, Mark and Maris (back row)
Chris C, Jaz, Michelle, Yumi and Jason (front row)
hope everyone is having a great hump day!
I'm still trying to recooperate from the weekend...
try to remember to have fun...even though it's outside of your comfort zone...it makes for some fun times and wonderful memories!

backpack creation...
So this Maui trip...I went up there to play soccer but in the process I got in touch with a blogging sister...Kris...K-Lusive Kreations...and we planned to get together on Sunday. So of course I didn't want to go there empty handed! So I wanted to give her a few things...but didn't want to put it in a folder...so I decided to make a box...which then turned into a backpack! I was so excited! my original design is so much easier than the others you may see. here are the directions...CS - 1 piece of 6" x 11"...score @ 5" and 6"...the 11" side on the top. then score 1" on the 6" side and flip and score the other side @ 1". for the cover...DP 4" x 8"...score it @ 5" and 6" and corner round the short side for the flap. I used the scallop envelope die from SU for the front pocket. I added some buttons to make the backpack look finished.
here is what it looks like once it's opened...I used a craft velcro dot to keep the flap closed. filled it with some goodies and stamped images...I hope Kris liked it!

Thank you Yumi...
Have you gone to check out TGF lately? they have come out with a few new stamps!!! Oh no you say...well...I did too...but couldn't resist...I purchased this cute wild sprout called SAVANNAH! she's darling and I just got her in the mail and had to ink her up right away! I wanted to make a thank you card for my dear friend Yumi...she knew how short we were of girls for this Maui co-ed tournament where we went to this past weekend...so she booked a flight up and joined us for two night games! Isn't she the sweetest! so I wanted to make her a special card to thank her for being so thoughtful...I wanted to try out my red...it didn't turn out how I wanted it to...so I added some stickles to make her sparkle! used my rectangle nesties that I just picked up, DP from Imaginisce, ribbon and used my prima flowers!
here I wanted to give you a look from a different angle...hope you can see I used the out of the frame technique to make it like she's dancing!
