Shaker Checkbook Covers...

...CHEEKY GEEKY...
Happy Thursday!  My how time flies.  I have been so busy with life that I rarely have time to post!  I wanted to share with you some shaker check book covers that I made for Taelyn's teachers.  I have decided to give each teacher that Taelyn had from kindergarten to sixth grade and her counselor something special to remember her by.   I found some pretty DP and then went from there for the colors to use.  I just bought this cutie from TGF.  Her name is Cheeky Geeky.  Isn't she so cute!  I colored one image and scanned her to my computer, made her a little smaller and then printed them out.  I added my beads, ribbon and some half pearls and I am done!  Here's all of them that I made...
here's a close up of the brown one...

here's the orange one...
Taelyn will be graduating from 6th grade soon.  My baby will no longer be a baby!  She's leaving elementary school behind and soon will become a teenager!  Wow!  In my heart she will always be my baby!  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend!  Tomorrow is my daughter's May Day program.  Hope to share some pictures from that :)
Till next time...Keep Crafting!

Be Blessed,

Wow, these turned out great! So much thought and love went into creating each of these amazing check book covers and it shows! What a wonderful keepsake these will be for the teachers to remeber sweet Taelyn!

That was very thoughtful of you Joy! I’m sure Taelyn’s teachers were thrilled with your gift. It was very creative of you to design the image and adorn them with beads, ribbons, and pearls. The outcome is lovely!
