...KOI...
a friend of mine that works in the same building asked me if I could look at something and see if I could create one just like it...so here's my take on it. It's a fish hanging on a line. I thought it was pretty easy...after I took her sample apart and then made my own measurements. lol! I hope she decides that I only have to make 20 vs 200 for her son's 1st birthday favors.
here's what it looks like from the side...I punched out the eyes with the 3 flower punch from SU, and the middle with a small circle punch I had. the fins I punched out with the SU square, but trimmed it and used stickles for the scales.
here's the view from the mouth. if you untie the tail, you can fill this fish with some goodies to share. the ribbon on the front actually helps hold the mouth in the shape that it is in and it also serves as the fishing line.
here's my template that I came up with once I figured it out. kinda crazy yah? it reminds me of the pop-up box I made.
I should be arriving home today...later in the afternoon. thank you for still coming by to visit. hope you have a wonderful hump day!

“Opportunities, many times, are so small that we glimpse them not and yet they are often the seeds of great enterprises. Opportunities are also everywhere and so you must always let your hook be hanging. When you least expect it, a great fish will swim by.”
