My 1st Double Shaker Box...

Thank you to my dear friend Teri...Big Ideas from a Little Girl...who taught me one night (that we stayed up till midnight) how to make this double shaker box. Once you learn how to make it, it is pretty easy to takes a lot of acetate paper though! I made this one for a dear friend...who I will be sending it out to her soon! I put a border around this window, but I don't know if that took away from being able to see that it's a double shaker box.I used the mimmy w/ purse, the sizzlit die for my design...I used a butterfly punch I had, stamped it and added some green bling for the body. I used the new stamps from SU for the sentiment...used the new oval scallop punch from SU too...I had some paper flowers and used a heart brad in the middle...and what is a project without ribbon? so I added some of that too =)
here is my shaker box up close...I don't know if you can see the second shaker but I filled that with punched out flowers and beads. the front shaker has microbeads and regular beads inside. I made it all green...can anyone guess who this is for? I hope she will like it when she receives it. this is my first and only double shaker box so far...will definitely have to try this was so much fun to make!
have a great Saturday everyone!
I am getting ready for my daughter's birthday party next week as well as getting my Easter stuff ready...hopefully I will have time to post...if not I will make sure to post all the fun after we are done! thanks for stopping by!
