A Sweet Friend...

DEE DEE - Wild Sprout
by: The Greeting Farm
Welcome everyone...it's Tuesday and I wanted to share a card with you...I created this card for Tamiko's. She has a online store that you can buy this cute and new GF stamp...her name is Dee Dee and she's a wild sprout. I was wandering around and came upon the Farm Fresh Friday sketch challenge and really liked it, so I decided to create a card. I decided to use purples and pinks. I used PTI DP and CS, prima mini purple rose, large star spacer from Stamp and Create, lavender ribbon and a sentiment I had for a while. I popped up her bows on her head and added some bling. I tried entering this card into the challenge, but when I logged in and everything, I just couldn't find where to upload and post my picture...oh wells.
This card really came out cute...I do love it when I find a really good sketch to follow. I have the hardest time making cards with different layouts. it's easier if I CASE someone...lol! stay tuned for another post using another new GF stamp. until then...“May your days be many and your troubles be few. May all God's blessings descend upon you. May peace be within you may your heart be strong. May you find what you're seeking wherever you roam.”

"Two Cute Rabbits"
by: Penny Johnson
Happy Monday everyone! I know it's a start of another week...but I have the Product Spotlight of the week for Stamp and Create...its EASTER. Any stamp that has a chick or a bunny will be 25% off in the store...so on to my card...I decided to use this cute stamp from Penny Johnson called: Two Cute Rabbits. Aren't they just so adorable? I am loving the ribbon that Lacey carries in her store and this one is called cluny lace...isn't this so pretty. I used basic grey-lemonade DP, added those trellis and prima roses , heart charm and a large star spacer.
I used my new nesties I just got called: big scalloped circles small and large. I even added some pretty half pearls to add to the card. you can purchase all of these items at the Stamp and Create store. so if you haven't stopped by, go and check it out and shop till you drop! Also stop by the Stamp and Create blog to see all the other cards that were created. here's to another week...“If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it, I know I can achieve it.” Jesse Jackson.

Oliver and "A" Buddies...

So this is one of the good news I had to share...The new set is being released today by TGF and I created these cards for Tamiko's DT...yes, I am honored to be on a second DT for Tamiko's! this is not our first assignment, but we are to create two cards with this darling new set being launched today and it's called: OA Buddies and we are to use spring colors. here's the cards I created...The first one is Oliver...I love this image with his BF...the pup! I wanted to make it simple but cute as it is for a boy...and I have such a hard time with making boy cards...lol! Used my MS border punch, my new spellbinders and buttons.
the second card is created with..."A" (Ashley). I sorta renamed her for my own personal reasons. any whoo...this is what I came up with as I wanted to use purples, pinks and yellows. I used ribbon from PTI, the 3D flowers found at Wal-Mart and some purple bling. both sentiments come with the set.
If you have a chance...go and stop by Tamiko's. She has free shipping over $25 and check out her personal blog...she creates such wonderful cards and projects. You won't be disappointed. Today is my daughter's birthday...Happy 10th Birthday baby!!! Thank you for all your comments and well wishes...she is so happy! I will post some pictures later from her birthday party this weekend =) the winner of her blog candy is coming too. Happy April Fool's Day...

Popcorn box Easter basket...

I was blessed to receive the line of these cute baby bunnies from my kind and generous friend Cami. If you haven't checked out her blog, please do so...you won't be disappointed.
I wanted to make some cute and different Easter baskets for some dear sweet friends. I ended up using the popcorn box die to make these and then I added my own handles to it. here I decorated the front with those cute baby bunnies from Sweet November Stamps. this one is with chick. He is really cute...I used my MS daisy fan border punch for the bottom of the box and used some flower soft for his tail. I added the Happy Easter sentiment from SU to the top of the box. here's the side view and I used my prima flowers with sugar coated brads to hold the handles into place. I was happy with how it turned out. hope the ladies liked the goodies I put inside.
I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have some exciting things to share with you in the up coming days...so stay tuned. have a wonderful day!
