Hello Kitty page...

For Freida's retirement party...we (Teri and I) decided to make a 12" x 12" scrapbook for one of her gifts. So another lady decided to follow suit and asked us to write something for her on this 5" x 7" page. So I took it home to decorate first and then I will have the ladies in the office sign. So what do you think? The judge loves Hello Kitty too!
we made it to Thursday! it's another furlough Friday for us. So I won't post anything till after the weekend. Everyone enjoy yourselves. We have family here from the mainland, so it's a little hectic. Have a wonderful weekend!

Tiddly Inks...

I first saw these cuties on THREE UMBRELLAS...Donna's blog. I fell in love with them. They are just so cute and the person who creates these HuggABuggs...Christy Croll, designer of Tiddly Inks on Etsy. They are digi images and you can make them to any size you want. This one is called Joy Bugg. I have another birthday in February and so I needed to make another card. Her favorite colors are green and pink...perfect! I used my top notes to make a card. I wanted to try a non traditional size card. Here is another charm that Stamp and Create store sells. I have come to love these charms...they really do add to a card or creation.
here is the insert...I wrote a little note and sent a gift certificate.
Hope she likes her non-traditional card. I had a fun time making this. it's always an adventure and experience to try something new...sometimes not so good and other times a wonderful creation that you make so many of...then it's time to move on! lol!

Sitting Pretty...

I finally found a easy tutorial on how to make these easel drawer holders. I had to change the score lines so that it would work, so I didn't link the tutorial to this post. There are lots of you who already know how to make these...it really is something nice to give and you can use it at your desk...at home or at work. I made a few to give away.
Here is what the easel drawer looks like when the cover is closed. this one is in my favorite color...purple! I used the newest set from TGF...as some of you may know, the sitting images are my favorites. The sentiment is a stamp from hero arts and used my MS border punch. The heart charm you can purchase at Stamp and Create. If you haven't had a chance, got and check out the Stamp and Create Blog.
so once you open it, here's what it looks like. I used the desk calendars I received from Enjoli. Thanks so much Enjoli for sharing your calendars with me!
here's what it looks like when the drawer opens. I used a flower for the handle. You can fill it with goodies...post-it-notes or whatever you choose.
Happy Monday! It's already February 2010. Enjoy the day as the year seems to move quickly. thank you for coming to visit me. I am grateful!
