Baby Book Box...

C.A.T.S. sign up...today is the last day to sign up for the Card And Tag Swap. You can read about all the deets here. I will list everyone that has notified me tomorrow. now onto my creation...

...MAKANA...

Happy Thursday! I have another book box to show you. I love making these and they really turn out so pretty that I decided to make one for my friend's baby. He has two boys now, but this one just came a month ago. So I wanted to send something to him. I took the announcement that I received and scanned on the info and pic of the baby. I used the baby's info. for the front of the book box. I bought some light shimmery paper from J's and used my doily die to decorate the front. here's what the inside looks like. I added a couple sentiments. I used the baby's picture for inside the shaker. I made it a double shaker. I hope they keep this and have something to show him when he gets older. I added a butterfly and some pearl swirls to finish it off.

Have a wonderful weekend...I know you must be tired of hearing me say this, but we have another furlough Friday. It's also my daughter's birthday! so I can do something special for her and her class. till next time: Keep smiling =)

Simply Beautiful...

...FUN FLOWERS...
Happy Hump Day to everyone. I wanted to share with you an awesome Make n Take we did this past weekend. Cami was so gracious enough to share with us this wonderful book/box. She had made sure everything was already cut and scored and all we had to do was assemble. Unbelievable! She's the bomb! So here is the cover. Isn't that flower just so beautiful? She made it with a die from the SU mini catalog. She added tulle to it too. We also used a pretty doily that's also another die you can buy from cheerylynndesigns.com. You can never get enough sentiments and this one is from Whimsy Stamps. so much detail yah!
this is what it looks like once it's opened. Don't you just love that heart and look at that tiny bow! the right side has flourishes, a butterfly, flower and some half pearls. You can place anything inside or you can just leave it as is.
Since we got together for Michelle's birthday...the ladies decided to make little RAKs. It was so sweet of everyone. This one is from Mama. It's an origami basket. so cute and small. Can you see that the candy is missing...think my daughter ate them all...lol! Thanks Mama!
here's a wonderful folder from Joni. It has so many pockets inside and she also gave us a CC design stamp. Thanks Joni!
Here's a cute box that Cami made and the bag is full of goodies and some pretty bling! So on top of giving us this, she even prepared a make n take. Thanks Cami!
last but not least...I decided to turn the popcorn box die into an easter basket. I used my border punch from MS for the handles and decorated with the cute gorjuss girl called: cupcakes and giggles. hope everyone liked it.
I just wanted to share a pic with you. it was really a fun filled day of celebration, enjoyment and relaxation knowing we could all just hang out, have some fun and be ourselves.
thank you for stopping by! I am hoping you are having a wonderful week so far. Till next time: Be Blessed with what friendships can bring...much joy, lots of happiness and memories to last a lifetime!

Double Shaker Book...

...YOU'RE AN ANGEL...
I was blessed to get together with some awesome and talented ladies this past weekend to celebrate Michelle's "21st" Birthday! While we celebrated, we also got to make a fabulous make n take by Cami. It was a book/box that was so beautiful to look at! Cami cut every piece, put them all together, made the flower and scored everything. All we had to do was take all those pieces and assemble them to make the book/box. So with that...I decided to try make one, but of course I tweaked it a bit. Only because the accordion folds were a lot of work. Here's what the cover looks like. I used my new doily die cut, plenty of flowers, my fancy tags spellbinder, the sentiment is computer generated, added a butterfly, a stick pin and bling.
once you open it up...here's what it looks like. I love this pink and brown DP. I can't get enough of it and want to use it all up!
I took a picture of the left side...with a sentiment from SU. I used my new floral doily motif spellbinders and added some pink bling.
I also took a picture of the left side to give you a better view. here is where I tweaked it a bit. I decided to use my double foam to make a double shaker. I used the cute angel from TGF. I added micro beads for the front shaker and then dew drops, beads and confetti hearts for the back shaker. I colored the angel with my copic pens and cut her out. I also used more flowers, a butterfly, ribbon, swirls of pearls and bling. The window was cut out with my labels sixteen spellbinder.
So what do you think? I am hoping that the person I sent this to received it in the mail already because I am posting it today! I will show you the original make n take we made tomorrow. have a wonderful Tuesday!

I was chosen to use TGF and I decided to use Later Sk8er set. The sentiment comes with it. I also used Pyrus DP by Basic Grey, a border punch, dyed seam binding and colored it with my copic pens. Time to have some fun...

...MASKING...
Happy Thursday everyone! I hope you are having a good week. Friday is a holiday for me so I won't be posting any more for this week. But I wanted to share with you a technique I saw at J's Knick Knacks. I ended up buying this roll of paper with light sticky adhesive on the back. so what I did was stamp the same image on my CS that I am coloring and once on the sticky paper. I chose to use TGF girls from two different sets for my final creation.
then what you will do is cut out the image that's on the light sticky adhesive paper. I only cut out the side that I plan to lay the other image over. but if you rather cut the whole image out, you can do so.
here's what it looks like once the sticky adhesive paper is completely over the image.
then I get the next image I want next to it and I stamp it right over the image.
then I remove the light sticky adhesive paper off the original image. The lines of the second image disappears and it looks like she's right behind the first image. pretty cool huh!
here's my finished image. All colored and ready to go! now I just have to make a card for these cuties! I just fell in love with this new technique and I love playing with it and trying it out.
So if you get a chance...you can do this without buying the sticky paper. You can always just stamp two images and put one over the other and then carefully stamp the other image over the other. It's so much fun! let me know if you do, so I can see what you created! Thanks for stopping by! have a FANTASTIC weekend! be safe and enjoy each moment!

Ever the BEST of Friends...

...HOW SWEET IT IS...
So my BFF just celebrated her birthday and I am going to be able to see her this weekend & I am so happy. I wanted to make a special card for her. Her favorite colors are pink and brown and I found some pretty DP at Cute Stuff when I went shopping for some retail therapy with my sweet friend Teri. I also love this new set from TGF. It's called: Hats Off. I just learned a new technique where I can stamp an image right next to another one without crossing the lines. I will have to show you how in another post. I used my lacey circles, which I love to use! I also got a roll of seam binding from my dear friend Donna. She taught me how to dye my own ribbon. It's definitely a work in progress, but it's lots of fun! I added some flowers and my computer generated sentiment...voila! So what do you think?
I hope she will like her card. Thanks for stopping by. I hope that everyone is having a great hump day! This week is short for most people as Friday is a holiday!
till next time...Keep Creating!

Happy Birthday...

...TO YOU...
Hello gang...so sorry, but there was a mix up on what I was supposed to do, so I am posting a day late! any whoo...we are to create with any stamp in the Stamp and Create store. I decided to use my Belles 'n Whistles - Li'l Miss Poppy. She's so cute and I just got my new nesties called: Lacey Circles. It really adds to the card. I even added a cute Hello Kitty charm, some dyed seam binding, a computer generated sentiment and a few dew drops.
I created this card for a friend who celebrated her birthday. I am late, but I hope she likes it! Well Happy Tuesday everyone. Enjoy the day and till next time...“Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live.”

Honey Digis...

...IT'S RAINING, IT'S POURING...
the old man is snoring!
Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope your week is going well. After the tsunami scare and all the rain that's been hitting the Hawaiian Islands...I am starting to craft again. I have a few more thank you cards to share with you. I am trying my best to send my cards out as fast as I can...that's a task in itself! I am always behind because I don't have a card. So I stall and then it gets old!!! So here are a couple cards I created with the digis from All that Scraps. I used the cute Honey with the umbrella and one with a puppy! So adorable yah! I decided to make it easy on myself and use my nesties to make the shapes of my cards. Added some flowers and I am done.
here's another one I made with the umbrella. Gotta love the digis as you can make them any size you like! I am having fun with them!
hope everyone is enjoying their hump day!

I wanted her to be having fun. So I have her swinging from a circle nestie by some jump rings. I colored her with my copics, added some flowers, stickles, bling and a sentiment and I am all done!
here's what she looks like sitting in the circle from a side view.
hope you had a wonderful weekend! Weekends always go by way too fast! My daughter is on spring break this week. So if I get a chance, I will try to take a few days off to spend with her. Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous week!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun...

...IT'S TIME TO PARTY...
Hello gang...it's Thursday and I have something to share with you. My daughter's birthday is coming up again and so I decided to make her invitations with her two favorite colors...pink and purple. I really love the new set from TGF called Hats off. This girl reminds me of my daughter as she's very tomboy, but loves to wear skirts and do girly things. So this was perfect. I had this pretty DP for a while now and I wanted to make a shaker, so here's what I came up with. I used my labels seventeen for my window opening. I used my new doily border punch from MS and printed out the sentiment. I only had to make 8...phew! lol!
here's what one invitation looks like up close...I added a square brad for her belt. I saw this on Mama's card and thought what a great idea and wanted to try it.
I have all the deets inside. I hope all her friends can make it as it's a bowling party! I think the kids are old enough and it's lots of fun. It's so much fun too as now she's old enough to invite her classmates and friends. It makes it all the more memorable for her as it's not all my friends with their kids. lol! Well, it's another furlough Friday again...I am really going to miss it when we are done...hopefully in June. Have a great weekend! Be back on Monday!
I also have sign ups for C.A.T.S. (Card And Tag Swap)

Hush Little Baby...

...HANGLAR GIRL BABY...
I finally got my card done! It's taken me 5 months...I know...what was I doing? I just have a hard time figuring out what to do. So then my present that was supposed to be given a while back...gets pushed off. I knew I was going to see her this weekend...so I had to get it done. I was blessed to receive some images from my dear friend Cami. I love these hanglar stanglar images and can never get enough of them! So when I got them, I knew I wanted to create with this one in particular. I just got the big die called Scallop Lace Circle. I then embossed it to make it look like a doily and used some cute baby Imaginisce DP. I added some ribbon and I was done.
I hope my friend likes the card I made. I gave a dog stuffed animal and clothes. Thank goodness I always buy 12 months...she's not that old yet! lol.
hope you are having a good week. I am starting a C.A.T.S. (card and tag swap). If you are interested, please check out the post below. It will be open for the month of March, so if you want to join...email me!

Hanglar Cuties...

...GIRL WITH FLOWER...
It's Aloha Friday...and I do have another project to share with you. I waited this long because I am hoping that Tammi received it in the mail first before I posted this. any whoo...I have been super duper blessed by this wonderful and talented lady. She has a heart of gold and is always sharing with me such wonderful creations! I won one of her candies and it was images of these hanglar cuties! As soon as I got them I had to color and create with them! I finally had some inspiration to make something. lol. I scanned the images she gave me onto my computer and made these girls a little smaller. I got a chance to try the "grass" technique everyone's doing. I added a butterfly, heart stick pin and lots of flowers. I wanted to match the image to the sentiment I chose.
I made her into an easel card. so this is what it looks like once it's popped up! I used my sizzix xl die-box #3 for the base. I put some goodies inside and sent it to her.
here's my thank you card as well. I used the other cute image that she sent me. I wanted to try a different color, so I chose green. As you can see I sprayed a lot of sparkle all over my card and I used my labels seventeen nesties for the shape.
well, it's a furlough Friday for me! I am trying to finish up projects before everything passes me by! *STRESS* but I know that if I just focus, I can finish all I need to. I also have a soccer tournament this weekend...so it should be fun! Have a fun filled weekend...

Creepin...

...LESLIE...
Happy Hump Day everyone! Did you know that TGF has released a whole new set called: Creepin? The girls are so stinkin' cute! So of course I had to get it...lol! I decided to use Leslie. I think she's my favorite one from this set. I decided to do the non-traditional hair. I have been on a purple roll lately...so I created this card. Can you believe that I created something with no purpose, just so that I could use this image? haha! The sentiment comes from this set too. I added some ribbon, bling, flowers, a stick pin, a heart charm and my label four nesties.
I stood my card up so you could see that I actually cut out the nesties as a puka(hole) on the front of my card.
here's a side view of it so you can see it better. You can decorate the inside as well.
here's what it looks like once it's opened. I just left it so you could see what I did. I matched the size of the image to the puka (hole) on the front of the card. So you can't tell the difference until you open it.
Don't forget that I do have birthday candy below...so if you didn't get a chance to enter, go do so now! Thank you everyone for stopping by today. I hope you have a beautiful day!
till next time: "Take each moment...one step at a time and enjoy the beauty along the way"
