Easel Drawer...

I am having such a fun time making these cute little easel drawers! they are so easy to make that I have the directions in my head...lol! the assembling part is the easiest. then it's thinking of what to do to decorate them. I fell in love with Stella as I have learned to color her hair black. I love adding the flower to her hair, but I don't like cutting her out...I had to cut so many =) I do like all those different border punches and have found that it really adds to your creation. These easel drawers went to my co-workers for Valentine's day.

Top note box with charms...

Hello everyone! hope you all had a wonderful weekend...and for some of you today is a holiday...it's President's Day! Hope you enjoyed your Valentine's day too. well on to today's post. I hope you are all not tired of seeing these...I made a few more to give to some special ladies! I hope they enjoy it. I colored Stella in their favorite colors.
here's the pink one up close...as you can see...I am so in love with these new found charms and flower spacers! Happy Valentine's Day...

so I thought I would make something special for the girls on my co-ed team for Valentine's day just because they are like my second family and they are dear friends to me. They do love our creations too...so why not make for those that appreciate it =) So with the top note box that I made for Cami...I decided to make ones with the Valentine's day DP. I really wanted to decorate the cover and I just purchased those charms and spacers from Stamp and Create. The large flowers are from Munchkins and the small flowers in Stella's hair I found at Ben Franklin. so this is my attempt to color black hair...I don't know about my coloring, but I do love that Stella has black hair. I colored her dress to match the flowers. I used my white gel pen to make the dots on the hem of her dress. I bought a few different charms...flowers, butterflies, hearts, stars and Hello Kitty. yes...there are Hello Kitty Charms! go and get yours today =) to dangle the charms I am using the jump rings from the store too. I love how it came out.here my daughter is helping me hold open the box so you can see inside. I hope the girls enjoyed the chocolate goodies for Valentine's day =)

I didn't really do a tutorial, but I am giving instructions on how to make this simple top note box.

so here are the measurements for the box...
2 pieces of the top note die (I used white cardboard)
if you want to decorate it, you need to cut 2 more pieces of the top note die with DP, then cut around on the perforated line
1 - 6 1/2" x 9" CS
score on the 6 1/2" side: 1 1/2" then flip and do the other side
score on the 9" side: 1", 3 1/2", 5" and 7 1/2"
you will cut away the 1" and 3 1/2" score lines on the 1 1/2" score line on either side. this will give you your flap for you to tuck into your box. the other two score lines you will cut up to the 1 1/2" score line. this will form your tab for the box.
I hope you can understand what I'm trying to explain.

Tiddly Inks...Wild Thing

The winner of my blog candy would get some handmade items...well, I wanted to try a top note card. I was happy with how it came out. I used the Tiddly Inks image called Wild Thing. Isn't he so cute? I love it and I used my nesties and did the out of the frame technique. I added some ribbon from PTI and can't forget those charms! the DP I bought at Cute Stuff. It was on clearance...can you believe that?
Here I made a top note die box. I love how it turned out. I found these pop up flowers at Wal-Mart, used my clear bling and I used stickers for the name.

here's what it looks like when it's opened. you can fit some goodies inside and that's what I did...fill it up with lots of goodies!

Hello Kitty page...

For Freida's retirement party...we (Teri and I) decided to make a 12" x 12" scrapbook for one of her gifts. So another lady decided to follow suit and asked us to write something for her on this 5" x 7" page. So I took it home to decorate first and then I will have the ladies in the office sign. So what do you think? The judge loves Hello Kitty too!
we made it to Thursday! it's another furlough Friday for us. So I won't post anything till after the weekend. Everyone enjoy yourselves. We have family here from the mainland, so it's a little hectic. Have a wonderful weekend!
