A proud moment...

18 years later...
I can't believe it...time really does fly fast and I am so amazed that this day has finally come! Graduation day...HBA graduation on June 6, 2009 @ 4:00 pm at the NBC! Look at him...all covered in leis with balloons! I am truly proud!
here's my money card for him...I wanted to make it special and personal...HBA colors are gold, white and black...so I tried to stick to those colors...I wanted to use his picture too!

this is what the inside looks like...the top part is where I can write my note =)

here's the upclose of the bottom where the monetary gift goes...

after this Thursday...I was inspired to make a double shaker for him as well...I used the graduation Ian and I put the HBA logo on the front. I used the gold and black beads and dew drops for the back...which you can't see.

here's my personal poster~! I call him the "soccer king" so of course I used the crown and used my soccer ball stamp for the top of the crown. I got to use Teri's cricut for the letters and I stamped the 2009~

Chloe post-it-note holders...

Is everyone tired of seeing my post-it-note holders? I'm sorry if you are! but these are the last of them...I wanted to use a different fairy...she's from TGF! Isn't she so cute?! she looks like she's sitting to the side...so I decided to make these for some of my GFs! I got to hang out with them and wanted to give them something special!

here she is up close! I love my new flowers from Roses on Paper! go and visit her website! she has such great stuff! I also used some dew drops I purchased a while back from Little Cs.

Saying Goodbye...

I wanted to make a few more things for my daughter's teacher...I found out Tuesday night that they were having a little program at their classroom and so I had to hurry to finish up what I wanted to do! I decided to make her a Hello Kitty Image Folder...I am so happy that Taelyn's teacher is a crafty woman, so I wanted to share with her some images. I stamped TGF girls and gave them to her that night in this folder. I used chocolate chip & pretty in pink CS from SU, flowers from Roses on Paper and my HK face sizzix die.

I also made her a desktop post-it-note holder...sitting ava!

I also made her this sunkissed Hello Kitty card...

Mrs. Chinen loves HK so I thought I'd use the new dies that just came out! I used the cuttlebug embossing folder for the background and the swirls border sizzlit. I had my daughter write a thank you note to her teacher. This has been a blessed year with such an awesome teacher!

Purple Ava and Leila...

woo-hoo...I found another person who loves purple! My GF KeriAnne celebrated her birthday this past weekend. we had our last soccer game and so I decided to make something for her and when I found out her favorite color was purple...I was so excited! I never knew how much fun it can be making something with your favorite color! so since I'm on a roll with this post-it-note holder, I thought I should just make another one! I just got my flowers from Roses on Paper...thanks so much Summer! I love the flowers I bought and it was perfect for this project! used dazzling diamonds for her wings...a flower in her hair and my copics to color with =)
I finally got to use Leila! she is such a cute hula girl! I have a few Leilas colored except for the flowers. so this one was easy! I used some purple bling CS, added some purple bling and of course we had to use those flowers! it really gives it a "hawaiian" look to match her! I took this card down to the soccer field and had all the girls sign the card. I hope she enjoyed it =)
happy hump day! this is going to be a fast week! my daughter's last day of school is Friday! I better get a going...I have things to make for her teacher, then the next day I have 3 different graduations to go to...a party on Sunday...I'm overwhelmed just thinking about it =)

My favorite gorjuss girl purse...

I love to visit Teri's blog...Big ideas from a little girl...she made this "simple card holder" and of course it looked easy and fun to make...so I had to try one! I made this one for...of course...my BFF! I used the CS Hibiscus Burst and true black ribbon from PTI and I love the DP! here is my favorite gorjuss girl! I had to have her, so as soon as funky kits notified me that it was in I purchased her! I colored her with my copics, added some flowers and a sentiment. here I tried again to color her hair black...it's not so easy...but at least I only had to color one this time =) I am loving these flowers...they really add to your project!

Graduation Anya...

Congratulations to the Kamehameha class of 2009! they graduated last weekend and this weekend I was lucky enough to be invited to a party! it was at the Hawaii Okinawan Center. I was so happy I could make a card for a girl...since I have 7 guys that are graduating this year! I got the digital anya from TGF and I am so happy I could use her! So Kamehameha is blue and white...hence the color combo for my card! I cut off the printed tassle and glued my "real life" one down. I added a flower to her hair too!I used my nesties, cuttlebug embossing folder and ribbon! I colored her with my copics, put them all together and voila! can't really see it, but I popped her up. I better get a move on and make the rest as graduation for Iolani, HBA and Punahou is this coming weekend!

my daughter came home from school and told me that she was selected by her teacher to receive the SUPERSTAR award! woo-hoo! that means she accomplished a few things...Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Resourcefulness & Relationships...

with that she has to be a...Self Directed Learner, Community Contributor, Complex Thinker, Quality Producer, Effective Communicator and Technology User. Desktop post-it-notes...

I decided to make these desk top post-it-note holders for my co-workers, my BFF, my family & friends and my daughter's teacher for gifts. I had lots of fun making these. I used my copics, dew drops and flowers...I used CS and DP for the background. this one went to my BFF.
so you can get this sitting Ava as a digital image from In Style Stamps. I love it because you can make her any size that fits to your project. I made this Ava 3" tall. I used the natural flowers from Roses on Paper (online), Creations Unlimited (Wahiawa) and A Place in Time (Kailua). I love to make her sit at the top of the frame like she's on a cloud of flowers =) this dress I used the copic RV06 Cerise.

here are the ones for my co-workers. I try to make things that they can use but can enjoy too because it's in their favorite colors =) so two of them like peach and one likes green. the copics used were YR15 Pumpkin Yellow and YG06 Yellowish Green.

here's one that's horizontal...I like to make both of them. with this one you can add a little more just because there's more room...so you can add a sentiment if you want...so that's what I did! this one is for my daughter's teacher. We have been blessed to have really good teachers every year, but this year, this one has been the best! she's really sweet and she also loves to craft too! I love to make things for people who can appreciate it =)

here she sits up close...I used dazzling diamonds on each sitting Ava's wings to give her some shimmer. I really had a fun time coloring each one in different colors. This one I used the copic R85 Rose Red for her dress.
