Easter Anya Challenge!!

Hey everyone! So, are you ready for the first Tamiko's Challenge??!?!

Here's what you gotta do:

1. Create an EASTER themed card
2. Use any sketch you want - it's your choice!
3. Use only pastel colors
4. Post the card on your blog or on-line gallery and make sure you go to Tamiko's and play along.

so on to my card...this is what I created for the DT. I used my purples, yellows and pinks. Used flowers from Stamp and Create, my nesties and found a sketch to follow.

Lovely RAKs...

just a short post today...just wanted to share a few RAKs I received from dear sweet friends...this first one is from my bff...she is so talented! I think this is my favorite cheeky...and she's totally fabulous! Michelle used such pretty DP that's in my favorite color too! this is an amazing little purse...thank you for my RAK!

love these coaster note pad...this awesome creation is from Brenda...the punch queen! she used her bind it all for this one...gotta get me one! thank you Brenda! go and check out her creations, you won't be disappointed.

last but not least...this is a cute card from Kris...my dear sweet friend I got a chance to meet when me and my bff went to Maui last year for a co-ed soccer tournament. It was really fun to be able to hang out and have a good time. thank you Kris for thinking of me for my birthday!have a great day everyone! I am off to my daughter's fun fair today...I know she will have a blast with all her little friends! I have furlough Friday again...doesn't it seem a bit much? oh wells, more chance for me to catch up and do my crafting! have a good one!

Mini Desk Post-it-Notes...

So I know you must be sick of seeing these, but I really enjoyed myself making these mini desk post-it-notes and decided to make a few more for dear friends. I wanted to make this a gift for girl's day, so I used my Hero Arts doll stamps and my Pure Innocence images. love all my MS border punches and my new found flowers at Ben Franklin, but if you want to purchase a bunch of them...Stamp and Create store has them. go and shop! If you have a chance to check out the Stamp and Create blog, you can see all our creations there and be updated on the Product Spotlight for the week...this week is Ribbon. here's my favorite image...she's with her watering can. I colored it purple for my dear friends who love that color =) hope they enjoyed it!

here's the other ones I made for my co-workers. So cute yah! tried to make each one in their favorite colors...I know they enjoyed theirs! here's the side view...

Everyone has been asking, so here are the measurements to this easy peasy mini desk post-it-note...hope you can understand and make this. it only takes one piece of 8 1/2" x 11" CS.

here we go...

***this is for your connecting piece and where you will decorate***

3 1/4" x 10" piece of CS

score @ 1", 2", 3" and 6 1/2"

***this is your tray in the front***

5 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece of CS

score 1" all around

**this is for your pocket on the back**

2 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of CS

score @ 1/2" or (measure @ 3 3/4"-easier to score)

then score @ 1" and flip to do the other side

to decorate...you need 2 pieces of 3" x 3 1/4" DP and a strip of DP 3/4" x 3 1/4" for the pocket. you can use whatever you may choose to finish up. put them together and decorate...you are done! Happy Hump Day everyone!

Fun Fair at Kaneohe Elem...March 11, 2010

Every year Kaneohe Elem. has their annual fun fair. This year the fun fair is on Thursday, March 11, 2010 because Friday is another day of furlough. So, since my daughter has been attending this school...every year I make something for the craft fair in the country store. This year I decided to make a dozen of those mini composition books w/ pens for the children. I tried to make a variety of them.

Product Spotlight...Ribbon

Happy Monday everyone! I know it's the beginning of a new week, but I have some wonderful news to share with you. Have you been following the Stamp and Create blog? well, if you haven't this week's Product Spotlight of the week is: Ribbon and it's 25% off. I used the new Crochet Lace Ivory and it is so pretty and really adds to your card. I also used the Ruby-TGF stamp, flowers-trellis roses and the shimmerz-butter cream on the roses to give it a sweet shimmer. You can purchase all of these items at the Stamp and Create store. here is Ruby...I colored her with my copics and added some bling...all over the card. I used SU DP-Sending Love Specialty. It really is such pretty paper. I love the flowers too.I decided to decorate the inside of this card. I wanted to make it a little more special, so I can give it to someone very special to me. I finally found the MS daisy fan border punch. I looked all over the place and finally got my hands on it. I love this border punch. it really adds to the card.

OCS for February...

Okay all you talented ladies...I know that this doesn't even come as close to what you can do, but I wanted her to look a little darker skinned and I guess you can say that I wasn't too sure if I liked it, but I tried my best though and will have to work on it. you must say that I must have been crazy sending it out for my OCS, but that is what I tried to create her for, so I sent her. You can at least say that Stella got her groove back! lol!
hope my OCS partner will like it. I love using the new MS border punch, my flower spacers and bling. Thanks to Teri for letting me use her spica pens. It really added sparkle!

Ebony and Camille...

TGF is releasing two of their wild sprouts...Ebony and Camille into rubber. I do love Ebony as she has a sassy look about her and I do love coloring her. I loved it because she was a digi and I could delete the skull off her shirt. My next DT project for Tamiko's was to color her in dark colors...I chose this dark red and brown. I had fun making this card. Used my nesties, MS border punch, glitterly DP, flowers, charm and SU sentiment. You can purchase these stamps at Tamikos. Don't forget that you can also get those cute charms at Stamp and Create!

here's my upclose view of this cute Ebony. I used stickles for her headband, eye shadow and her shoes. don't forget that Tamikos have free shipping over $25.

here's my other card using Camille. this challenge was to color her in pinks. I had a fun time doing this one as well. Used my loopy corner and border punch and my nesties. I found that flower at Wal-Mart. It's already a popped up flower and glittered petals.
Hope everyone made it through the week. I again have another furlough Friday. I will hopefully be creating more this weekend. I am moving my daughter into a different room and didn't realize how much stuff she has! so it's time for spring cleaning and we are donating and giving away all her baby clothes and toys she doesn't use. What a big girl she is as she is not complaining and giving with a joyful heart! So remember to give with a joyful heart and you will have ten times fold back unto you!

Happy Girl's Day...

I have seen Pure Innocence images in so many creations lately, so I decided to join in! they are so cute and so perfect for any creation. I used the digis because you can make it to the size of your liking. This one was easy to color...but more because it was easy to cut out...lol!
So have you been following 1LuvnMama and her awesome creations? well I have and I fell in love with her post for the mini desk tidy and she altered it to make her own. so I followed her link and got the measurements to make it, but I wanted to use post-it-notes instead. I am a little bit lazy and I don't want to have to cut my own paper for this...so I figured out the measurements to make it with the basic post-it-notes. they came out so cute! I wanted to make a few for girl's day. I used pure innocence digi images to decorate them and I cut out each one. I also used the MS border punch, ribbon and flowers. I got this pretty DP from J's. I added my mini pens that I had bought for my other creations. hope you like it...Enjoy!

here's what the my final mini desk post-it-note creation looks like. it really turned out so sweet and I must say once you make it, you will make more! they are really easy to make. I made this one in my favorite color =)

Hinamatsuri...or Japanese Doll Festival...meaning Happy Girl's Day, is to display dolls representing the Emperor or Empress in traditional court dress back in the Heian period. In today's culture, we celebrate it as a holiday and their activities are usually for film or music.

BRAK cards...

I have been blessed to have dear sweet friends who sent me such wonderful gifts and these lovely cards for my birthday and I would love to share them with you...this first one is from Kyoko. she made me a shaker card! I love it and she also used the new manga image! thank you Kyoko for being such a wonderful friend!

the next one is from Teri. I can't thank her enough for all that she does for me. I can't explain it all as it would take years to say it all...but she is the sweetest, kindest and down to earth friend you could ever have. always there for you in time of need and willing to lend a hand at any time! thank you Teri for your friendship...it means the world to me.

this one was a pleasant surprise from a dear and sweet friend...Tammi. She's always thinking of me and sending me such fabulous cards like this one. Thank you Tammi for being a wonderful friend to me. I love my card and thank you for my goodies!last but not least...is Joni...she made this cute Tilda card! thank you for putting it together for me Joni! she is so cute and I do love my card and goodies too! You are so sweet to think of me!

OA-Happy Day!

The new release of TGF called OA-Happy Day...is today! They are the cutest images! I have been blessed to be on two different DTs and you can purchase the stamp set from either Stamp and Create or Tamikos. I was fortunate to receive mine from Stamp and Create...Lacey. For the DT for Tamikos we were to take these images and make happy birthday cards with them. here are my takes on each one. the first one is with the girl. I used all different shades of pink. used different DP, flowers, stickles, punches & the new SU sentiment.
here's my second one...this one is with the boy. I used my nesties, different punches, SU DP, CS and sentiment. the ribbon is from PTI. I colored each image with my copics.
