so sad to say I had to go to a funeral this weekend for a dear sweet friend, who's mom passed away. I am very close to this family and it broke my heart when I heard the news. I know that hand made cards are so special, so with that I decided to make a couple different cards. I just got this sympathy stamp from Cute Stuff this past week...just in time for this card. I used the new stamps called vintage vogue from SU, added some ribbon and bling, layered some CS and used some pretty DP.
the second one is something that is not really your ordinary colors for a sympathy card. I used them to make the card brighter, but it ended up looking like Christmas colors, but I wanted the card to be more cheery and upbeat. I had this stamp a while ago...added some bling and made it simple.

*~Aloha Shelly~*
One of our finest sheriff's...Shelly...is leaving us...to do bigger and better things for her and her family...in VEGAS!
here's my card that I had to whip up...she told us the day before that the next day would be her last! I love Ruby...so I used her again for the card. I made this card to be a bigger size so that all of us could sign to say good-bye and give her our well wishes.
here is the goodie bag that I put together. I decided to put "Aloha" in this gift and give her and her family all the yummy munchies from Hawaii. I made a matching tag as well.

Ruby Tin Holders...
I decided to make some of these mini tin holders for some friends and I used Valentine's day colors because it's right around the corner. I love "RUBY" from TGF. I think she's my favorite so far...I used her on all my holders. She's just too cute!
here are the two different colors I used...red and pink. I added some bling to her hair. I used that pretty DP from Imaginisce, perfect for Valentines.
here is an up close view of one...I used my marvy punches and white ink gel pen.
here are the tins that go inside of the holder. I filled it with some goodies. I hope the ladies will enjoy it. It's so easy to make.
I know you must all be asking..."where's the tutorial?" I have to do that soon as it's the shortest and easiest tutorial to do. the hard part is getting the tins =) another week is almost done! *enjoy life to the fullest as you never know what may happen*
paper: Neenah, SU CS, DP-Imaginisce

Lady Rose Dragon...
So the other day...I went hunting for a tutorial on how to color hair and stumbled upon this blog...My Cardz, My Passion with a step by step tutorial on what she does to color hair...so I wanted to give it a try. I also found this beautiful image there called: Lady Rose Dragon by *Princess Elemmiriel* and she's a free image to download. So I did that too. Here is what she looked like once I finished coloring her. I didn't realize how much coloring/ink it takes to make images come to life! I totally fell in love with this one. I added some pearl bling to her dress...so pretty in pink.

Altered Wild Sprouts...
I was so excited to receive my package from TGF this weekend and I had to ink them up! I had an idea before I even bought them as what I wanted to do. I bought Ruby and Stella from the Wild Sprout series...aren't they just so cute?! Then I took Ruby's head and Stella's body and came up with this...what should I name her? Rubella? lol! I wanted to send this to a sweet lady I just met this weekend...she owns her own store in the Mililani Town Center. I hope she likes my double shaker! So much fun making this. love the new DP, corner and border punch from SU. I am still trying to figure out how to punch them together...*sigh*
Happy Monday everyone...here's to another week =) I am excited to create in the new year! I hope I don't get burnt out. enjoy and be good to each other.

ENJOY...
I made this a little while back for a couple friends...they had bought some tins and didn't know exactly what they wanted to do with them...so I came up with a holder for them. oh what fun it was! it was pretty easy to make and so easy to decorate. I hope they enjoyed what I came up with =) maybe now they can use their tins for gifts or to sell them. I used my Christmas moose, DP from SU and PTI ribbon to finish this project.
here's what it looks like when its opened up...the two tins fit perfectly inside! I think it really looks cute! I think I may want to make some more for some friends =)

Mahalo Nui Loa...
a little card with a big Mahalo to the ladies who really came through for me and helped me with all the planning and putting together with all I had to do at the ending of the year. I wanted to thank them personally with a card to say I am truly appreciative for all their help and to say that I am so grateful for their friendship. here I used the CC design - Rosalie with roses. Used my cuttlebug embossing folder and colored away!
gave them a little gift with it also...I hope they enjoyed it =)
