Sparkling Tilda...

so after all the hoop-la that has been going on in my life...I had some energy last night and decided to make some little gifts for some friends I'll be having lunch with today! I just got in my new Magnolia stamps...Tilda is so cute! I used the image called sparkling Tilda for the front. I colored her with my copics...used my stickles and cut her out...I know...I know...with my tennis elbow...it didn't help one bit, but I just had to cut her out =) made them in pretty purple and pink color boxes...It's an original! I also used some of that stretch cord to finish the box.so here's the one of the purple ones...I used my pretty DP to cover the outside. I found a sweet sentiment to put on the front too. perfect for who I am giving this to.
here's the pink one...
okay...I know you are asking...where are the measurements! I am going by memory as I forgot to write them down! crazy me yah! it can fit something small inside...I put some stamped images to share. okay...here goes...hope you can understand my directions =)
CS is 4 1/4" x 10 1/2"
score @ 4 1/2", 5", 9 1/2" and 10"
(this is the 10 1/2" edge on top of the scorer)
score both ends @ 1/2" or if it's easier @ 3 3/4".
(this is the 4 1/2" edge on top of the scorer)
you will cut the tabs to create the box...but where you see the double score lines crossing each other, please cut this off...this is how you make your little flap to close the top of the box. also go ahead and corner round the corners.
put adhesive on the 1/2" flaps on the sides to put box together.
just add whatever DP and image you may want...
then you are all done!
have a wonderful Tuesday! I'm off to enjoy myself with friends =)

Fun Flock fun...

just a little note for you to think about this Christmas time...tis the reason for the season:
A TRUE FRIEND will be LOYAL no matter what the COST. They would never put you down or try to be your boss. In heartache a heart they will share, They'll always try to show you how much they care. A true friend will always be there in good times and in bad. They'll try to make you laugh when you're feeling sad. I know ...without a doubt that a true friend I have in you. I hope that you know that I'm a true friend too.
this past weekend we got together for a day of crafting...I decided to make RAKS for everyone as it was a small group of gals. I decided to use the Christmas Anya...I got to use my fun flock! I think that using it for one is fine, but when you have to make 13 of them...it gets to be a little messy! I used the box die from SU and used some pretty Christmas paper that I got from a dear sweet friend =) I added some goodies and gave them away!here I colored her in my copics...one in green and one in red. added some gold stickles for her belt and bow...used the fun flock on everything white.
this was fun to make...but cutting her out was a pain...so much so that I think it aggravated my arm and now I do have tennis elbow. it bothers me when I squeeze, grip or pick up things. I try not to do to much stuff...but it's hard not to craft! hopefully the pain will go away soon. hope you all are having a wonderful Monday! I am starting to feel the Christmas spirit in the air!

EBONY...

Isn't she the cutest thing?! I was lucky to purchase her as a digi as a one day special from TGF. they were offering special digis for one day ONLY and she's from the wild sprouts. her name is Ebony...I took off the skull on her shirt and left it blank...I then added my own initial on it for my OCS partner for November. I came up with the idea to print her out exactly as I copied her. Ebony's measurement is 8 1/2 long by 5 1/2 wide. I love it! I colored her with my copics...looking at her I realize how much ink I must have used...but she was so fun to color!
so I cut her out but made sure I had another CS behind for the back. I used a purple sugarcoated brad to hold them together. I added some bling to her shoes and stickles to her eye shadow.
now I just have to write on the back CS and give it to...KYOKO! hope she likes my one of a kind creation! I hope you all like it too =)
Happy BLACK Friday! Be safe and shop...shop...shop!

A Little Yummy for your Tummy...

I think this is the last of these mini composition books...I had to make a set for my mom's work friends (that she used to work with)...they get together once a month and have a good old time! So she wanted to get the girls something...I offered to make her these. I used the Tilda from the "A little yummy for your tummy" line. She's so cute! I had to get the jar that went with it. I don't have candy to fill the jars...so I used my mini butterfly punch. I so loved how it turned out!
here are a three of my favorites...I know you can't see it...but I popped up the lollipop, used crystal effects on it...used stickles on her dress and bows in her hair...colored her with my copics, cut them all out and used double stick foam tape to pop them off the book. added ribbon and punched butterflies...stamped "for you" in the tag...whew! this was a lot of work!
here's one of the favorites...pink and brown...I had bought these mini retractable pens from fishers a while back...I wanted to add a pen with the book. I can't stop looking at her! she's so cute! the Tildas really do grow on you =)
we are half way through the week. I will be posting my blog candy tomorrow! perfect! just in time for Thanksgiving...have a safe holiday everyone! enjoy family and friends and always remember what you are thankful for.

Team Mom...thank you!

So...finally our season had to come to an end. The ninjas on fire had their last game. With that the boys got goodie bags and trophies! they were so excited =) but with that my brother and I wanted to thank the team mom for a wonderful season! So I made the card. I just got this Penny Johnson stamp...and it's perfect because this cute bear is playing soccer! Used my nesties, colored with copics and used the SU sentiment.
here is a picture of the image up close...I wanted to show you that I popped up the soccer ball to make it look like it's coming right at you =) I used orange and black because that's the team colors.
here's the inside of the card...I made it into a GCH because we are getting her a gift card. I had to make a pocket...decorated it with prima flowers and added brads.
hope everyone is having a fun Tuesday...it's almost Thanksgiving!

Special order...

As I didn't get a chance to make a lot of things...I know...I'm a procrastinator and make my stuff at the very last minute...I had a few orders to fill and they wanted it by the next day. so I finished the craft fair and went home to make more! here is one of the custom orders...as she wanted specific designs on the front.
here's one of them that she wanted...Rain...this is a very cute image!
here's another order...a shaker checkbook cover...
this last one wanted the Hello Kitty shaker checkbook cover...
whew! I'm done! I am happy with how things turned out. thank you everyone who come to visit me and leave me sweet comments. I am also grateful that you came to the craft fair to support us. It really means a lot to me. If you see something that you want and I can help you by making it for you...please let me know. If I have the time...I will be more than happy to make it =)

Happy Day at the Craft Fair...

What a fun day we had at the craft fair...I know it's a lot of work with preparing your items to sell way before and then the day of...you need to set up and get ready. but all in all...it was fun. I got to hang out with some awesome and fun ladies so the time went by fast. We sold out on pretty much all our stuff. Thank you to all the ladies who stopped by and helped support us! We truly appreciate all your kindness. As you can see in our picture...we were a little sun burnt but at least we were smiling =) Thank you Teri, Kyoko and Linda for sharing in this day with me! I know we can do this again...next year!
here are my last minute items I made for the craft fair...I decided to make mini composition notebooks w/ pens...I used different images for the design...
here are three different DPs used..
this is the new digi from TGF! if you didn't get her...go get her now! I love her...she is so cute and love that she has long hair =)
so the one thing I learned about doing craft fairs...you need to expect the unexpected...what you think will sell...maybe won't and what you think won't...will. But if you put your time, effort and love into making your items...even if they don't sell...it was well worth the time in making them. As the ones who do purchase them...they will enjoy them immensely because of your hard work and dedication. ***so for the bonus that I was giving away...since I got so many responses and that most of you were half correct...I will be giving a blog candy giveaway for you that answered me. please be patient...I will get that out soon. Happy Furlough Friday...for those of you who have it off! have a great weekend everyone!

HGEA Craft Fair items...

I finally got a move on and made a few things for the craft fair...yay! here are some coaster notepads. I used a 4 x 4 coaster, DP, medium binder clip and a 3 x 3 notepad. I decided to decorate it with the Hello Kitty face and added a flower to the middle of her bow. I bought these mini pens a while back from Price Busters...thought it would be cute to add it.
so here is what a single one looks like up close...I haven't made these HK faces in a long time...but using cardboard for the face was difficult to cut...but it really came out cute.

here are my shaker checkbook covers w/ matching pens...I decided to use the CC designs of the swiss pixies digis because I could make them to the size I wanted and they were sitting =)

here is one of my shaker checkbook covers...I made this one brown w/ yellow...I have pink, blue, green, yellow, purple and red...

here is another one...I used all different kinds of DP...used my coluzzle for the window...colored them with my copics...stamped the CS and added all different color microbeads for the shaker.

I am hoping that it will sell...if you are in the area...come stop by and say HI! it will be good to see familiar faces =) so I have a two part question for you...if you were to purchase one of these items, how much would you be willing to pay for each? let me know...and then tell me how much I will be selling it for...I will have a prize to give away to the first comment that is correct. thanks for stopping by today! have a wonderful Tuesday =)
