Give a WHooT...

...OWL YOU READY FOR THE WEEK?...
Happy Monday Everyone!  Can you believe it's July already?!  Wow, time really does fly by.  Well I had a chance to create this weekend and so I wanted to finish up a few things.  I also had a chance to stop by J's Knicknacks and picked up a few things.  I found this cutie!  I am not into owls, but this one was so kawaii...so I got it.  I turned this pull out card into...what else...a shaker!!!  LOL!  I used my dahlia nesties for the window, added my color beads from martha stewart and added that cute sentiment.
here's what it looks like when you pull up the ribbon and out comes...the goodie I stashed in it!
Have a WONDERFUL week...

Purple Fun...

...HAPPY 13TH BIRTHDAY KAYLA...
Happy Monday everyone!  I am so glad I got a chance to craft this weekend.  My niece's birthday is coming up this Saturday and so I wanted to make some cards for her.  One is for my mother (her grandma) and the other one is from us.  So this first one I decided to make a gatefold card.  Something simple.  I used my nesties to create the front design, colored with my copics and used the cute flirty Anya.  Her favorite color is purple...I added a pretty purple flower and some bling too.  Here's what it looks like...
this is what it looks like once it's opened...
On to my next card.  Here I created a shaker easel card.  She was so fascinated by my shaker checkbook covers that I made for Taelyn's teachers, that I thought why not make her a shaker card.  I used everything purple...DP, beads and colored her with my purple copics...V20 & V25.  I hope she enjoys it.
Well that's all I have for now.  Hope you have a wonderful week!  I hope to create more and be able to post more often.  Thanks for the support and for stopping by!  Till next time:  Remember take it day by day and stop to enjoy the scenery!

Graduations Galore!

...CONGRATS JACQUELYNN...
I have another graduation card to share with you.  My cousin's daughter in San Francisco has already graduated.  I wanted to make her a special card.  So I found my graduation Anya digi and made her just the right size, colored her in the school colors and added those shaker beads.   I tried to make it simple as I had to send it in the mail and adding too many embellishments makes it very hard to mail.  This is my card...sorry the picture is not too clear as I took a picture with my cell phone.
Have a beautiful weekend!  Have you been following the EURO soccer 2012?!  Well I have and my team...Portugal (Cristiano Ronaldo) is in it!  they made it to the semifinals!  Wishing them luck!  If you want to seen what I mean...here's a picture :)

A Hawaiian Touch...

...POST-IT-NOTES...
Hello Everyone!  Sorry that I didn't get a chance to post before I left for Vegas, but I do have a chance now, so I will.  I wanted to create something for my family when we went to our family reunion in Vegas.  We have a reunion every year and this time I wanted to give them something homemade.  I wanted to use "hawaiian" looking paper as most of them are from CA.  I found more paper at Ben Franklin and this is what I came up with.  I used the 3" x 3" post-it-notes.  something simple and easy to make.  here's a picture of all of them...
here is a single one by itself...

here's what it looks like once it's opened...

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!  I had a very short week as I only returned to work on Thursday, but I will definitely enjoy my weekend :)
Thanks as always for stopping by!

SHAKE...SHAKE...SHAKE...

...TAG and CARD...
Happy Tuesday Everyone!  Hope you all enjoyed a long weekend.  I had Monday off as it was Memorial Day!  This is a very short week for me.  I am off to Vegas at the end of this week.  A long and deserved vacation!  I can't wait!!!  Well as you can see I created a shaker tag for a dear friend who will be sworn in on Friday, June 1st @ the Supreme Court.  Congrats Jessica!!!  I attached it to a lei.  Purple is her favorite color...just like mine!  Hope she likes it!

Next card is for a graduate from Kamehameha.  Her party was this past Monday.  I created a shaker card with the same cutie...Cheeky Geeky!  I also created one more, but forgot to take a picture of it, but it was just like this one...only pink :)
I hope I can post one more thing before I leave.  I am making something to give to my family.  We have a family reunion every year in Vegas...that's why we are going!  Thought that I should use my talent and share with my family some handmade goodies!  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a gorgeous week everyone!

...MINI POST-IT-NOTES...
Happy Tuesday Everyone...The month of May is almost gone and we are heading into summer!  I am very busy with trying to get some projects done.  My daughter will be graduating from 6th grade tomorrow 5/30/12 and I decided to make each teacher that Taelyn had from Kindergarten to present and her special counselor who has helped us through the years (especially this year) a special basket of handmade gifts.  I think this is the last of what I will be making...lol!  I wanted to use my small post-it-notes, but I decided to use two of them side by side.  Here's all 8 of them...
here's how I decorated the cover...I added some flower and ribbon.
this is what it looks like once it's open...
So this is the final set...I used all matching DP :)
I made a shaker checkbook cover, bind-it-all notes, a credit card holder and the mini post-it-notes.
I hope the teachers enjoy their gifts!  We (my daughter and I) have been truly blessed by Kaneohe Elementary School...the teachers, students and staff have been so kind and we are going to miss them dearly!  Thank you for all the support!  (2005-2012)...here we go to bigger and better experiences!
Have a BEAUTIFUL week!

 ...TGF-CHEEKY GEEKY...
Happy Monday everyone!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  I sure did!  Here's one more shaker checkbook cover I made for a dear friend.  I decided to use TGF's cheeky geeky again, but I used the one I colored and keep her at the original size.  This one was really colorful and fun to make as well.  I hope she liked it.  I love this one...too cute!
Well...like I promised, I took some pictures at my daughter's May Day...
here is the May Day court...
here's a picture of Kela and Taelyn...they had to dress like the 70s for their performance.

Thanks for stopping by today...have a wonderful week!  My daughter is graduating on Wednesday.  got lots to do before this day comes.  hope I finish them all and then I can share with you!

Shaker Checkbook Covers...

...CHEEKY GEEKY...
Happy Thursday!  My how time flies.  I have been so busy with life that I rarely have time to post!  I wanted to share with you some shaker check book covers that I made for Taelyn's teachers.  I have decided to give each teacher that Taelyn had from kindergarten to sixth grade and her counselor something special to remember her by.   I found some pretty DP and then went from there for the colors to use.  I just bought this cutie from TGF.  Her name is Cheeky Geeky.  Isn't she so cute!  I colored one image and scanned her to my computer, made her a little smaller and then printed them out.  I added my beads, ribbon and some half pearls and I am done!  Here's all of them that I made...
here's a close up of the brown one...

here's the orange one...
Taelyn will be graduating from 6th grade soon.  My baby will no longer be a baby!  She's leaving elementary school behind and soon will become a teenager!  Wow!  In my heart she will always be my baby!  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend!  Tomorrow is my daughter's May Day program.  Hope to share some pictures from that :)
Till next time...Keep Crafting!

Petite Purse...

...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY...
from one mother to another...lol!  I was blessed by a friend who got me the SU die for this purse.  It is so cute and you can make two of these on a 12" x 12" DP.  I got my paper from Ben Franklin.  It's double sided too, so when you open it's pretty inside :)  I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of what it looks like when it's opened.  It's a really small purse, but it could hold a couple pieces of candy.  Here's what one looks like...

Here's the first batch of purses I made.  I will have to make a few more...like 20!  so my total will be about 50-60.  I know...I have to mass produce on certain occasions because of my soccer team, co-workers, friends, family & mom's friends too!

Happy Mother's Day to all you MOTHERS!!!
