Favor box with the Sitting Hello Kitty...

So if you didn't know...Cheryl -Life is Sweet did a free make n take at the Ben Franklin in Mapunapuna this Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm...but in 20 minutes all of her make n takes were gone! there were some disappointed people...I am assuming. So I "cased" what Cheryl made for her make n take and made one for Michelle and one for Teri! they were couple of the people who went down to the free make n take and then realized that they missed out on the whole thing. What a good way of trying a new project because I had all the things needed for this project! the sitting hello kitty, the hello kitty flower bouquet and the favor box w/ window diecut.
here's what it looks like from the top...

I used dazzling diamonds for the bow, shirt and the flower petals.

I blinged the middle of the flower and used the vines.

I stamped the box with swirls and there you have it!

it was so cute and so easy to make!

Samples of Projects...

Saturday was filled with fun as I got invited to Wini's house for some fun filled action of making many craft projects! It was Wini, Teri, Joyce and I who got together to have some leisure fun! I really enjoyed myself and so did my daughter... here are some of the projects we made...

here is a card that Wini showed us how to make...it's a Christmas card and we used the bird dieut from sizzix...don't you love the ribbon? it's from Flora dec.

Christmas gift card holders...

here are more gift card holders...another style...I wanted to make some and get ready for Christmas. I think that the new Whipper Snapper stamps are the cutest thing! I wanted to use them for something special and why not for a card you are giving away! I used kiwi kiss cardstock, holiday treasure designer paper...

the 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches with sugar coated brads (ladybug & limeade) and of course I used dazzling diamonds for the bear and the snowflake! lets not forget the bling...in red and green from crystal stickers...

used the hostess level 3 stamp set...seasonal icons.

I used green ribbon from GBC.

the stamp is called a hug for Ike from Whipper Snapper...

here's the inside...used an old set Season of Joy for the word and I used the snow swirled set for the snowflake.

here's another set of gift card holders...I used riding hood red cardstock and the same holiday treasures designer paper...I used the punches three stamp set for the merry christmas and I added a little colored bell to the end of it =) I used dazzling diamonds for the ball on the end of the hat and the ice cream cone, I used crystal effect for the cherry on top of the ice cream...I used red ribbon also from GBC.

I used the snowflake spot set for the snowflake and I used the heard from the heart set for the sentiment...

A RAK from Enjoli!...

I was so happily surprised on Saturday...I received a box in the mail...from Enjoli! I had my daughter open it up and she was more excited than me =) Look what I got...I got a cool black card (totally awesome), some "thickers" which the letters were in vinyl and chipboard and a coaster box with my name on it! look at all my goodies!
here's a close up of the coaster box! I love it!

Bigz Scallop Envelope Box...

I went to Fay's blog...and I saw this cute little box! I thought I just got my bigz scallop envelope die, so why not try to make this. it was so easy and it was so fun to make! I made this one for Michelle...of course.
I used pretty in pink cardstock...

CUTE Backpack...

I wanted to try something new...so I went looking on split coast stampers and looked under tutorials and I found this and it links you to the stampin' grounds...it's a cute little bag "backpack" tutorial and I thought what a great gift this would be for anyone...teacher, co-worker or friend...so of course I made this for Michelle =)her favorite colors are pink and brown...
I used the top note bigz die for the cover and

I used the scallop envelope for the front pocket.

I added flowers from the eastern bloom set...put pearl bling and used a big brad and glittered it with dazzling diamonds to make it look like a button. I also used the mega circle scallop punch with the jumbo circle punch. the BEST FRIENDS stamp is Clear Expressions.
I used the chocolate chip satin ribbon for the handles and jumbo eyelets to hold them in place.

Sour Cream Containers as Favors...

Freida wanted to see some samples of favors and I thought of this one...the sour cream containers. you can fill them up with candy or anything that will fit. I used SU garden green card stock but it was a little tough to roll because it's stiffer than designer paper or lighter card stock. I recommend using a lighter card stock to make these. I stamped the outside with the craft white and used stars because Freida's niece likes stars and is graduating from Aiea...green and white. you can decorate them with anything you choose...

I have the graduation set, so I stamped & punched some out.

I used a crimper to close the bottom and top of the favor.

here's the final favor. I used the graduation stamp set from SU...I used the circle scallop punch, wild wasabi grosgrain ribbon and I hung a tassel from the top to give it a sophisticated look =)
