...FIONA...
Oh my...is it that time again? Yup...time for another Tamiko's Thursday Teasers assignment. This time we are to use 3 different embellishments on our card...Brads, Blings & Buttons! What a fun and challenging assignment this was. I never done this before and so I went for broke! lol! I got to use my new nesties: labels fourteen...crocheted ribbon...a rose, dew drops and my new CC design stamp called: Fiona. Isn't she just too cute! If you would like to purchase these items, please stop by Tamiko's. If you don't see something, then email her so she can order it for you. So can you see all the bling I added to her headband? I wanted to really make her sparkle. I also used another nestie to make the shape of the card.
If you get a chance...stop by Tamiko's blog and check out all the other creations from the CT! You will definitely be amazed. Thanks for stopping by! Have a good Thursday everyone!

...STELLA...
Happy Friday everyone! it's a furlough for me...but I do have so much to do! any whoo...here's my second card that I made for a dear friend. It's pretty much the same layout, but I just switched sides...I used Stella's face and Megan's body for this one.
here's what my card looks like. Her favorite color is green...so I used all different greens. I colored her with my copics and used many of my favorite things to embellish this card.
have a wonderful weekend!

till next time...

Tamiko's Thursday Teaser...Spellbinders

...GIGI...
Here's to another Thursday and so that means we have another Tamiko's Teaser for you! The CT is to use any spellbinder on your card. I decided to alter another greeting farm image. This time I used Gigi and Megan. I made this for a dear friend's birthday and she sorta looks like Gigi, so that's why I chose this image. I love to make my creations shimmer and sparkle too. so I sprayed my different mists all over.
I love the color purple and I was lucky that she didn't have a favorite color, so I could use a color I loved. I used my circle nesties for the background of my image and used my embossing folder to give it more design. I got to use my MS flower punch and I used my circle punches, ribbon & sentiment from SU. I added some dew drops...my favorite - flowers and a heart charm.
if you have a chance to...go and check out the other girls on the CT @ Tamiko's blog. You will be blown away from the awesome creations. So if you like what you see...you can purchase the image and the spellbinders @ Tamiko's online store. If you want to special order something, you can do so, but you need to contact Joy first. Remember that shipping is free if you spend over $25. so go and check out the store!

Dandelion...

...SHAKER CHECKBOOK...
Hey...it's Tuesday and I have a short post to share with you. My mom wanted a new checkbook cover as her old one was pretty busted up and. so I decided to use the cuties from Dandelion. I put the two together and used many different dew drops and micro beads for the shaker. I added some ribbon and bling. My mom's favorite color is blue, so I made sure to use the new CS called: Marina Mist from SU.
have a gorgeous day everyone! be blessed that you are healthy, can breathe fresh air and that you woke up this morning. Life is so short...you never know when something can alter it in a blink of an eye. Be good to each other!

Product Spotlight...SWALK

...GRANDMA...
Happy...Happy...Monday everyone. here's to another Product Spotlight of the week. Have you ever heard of the SWALK line? I didn't until Stamp and Create brought these cuties in! They are now 25% off...so go and get some! I love them all! I used a SWALK image called: Grandma. Isn't she just so cute! It also comes with the sentiments you see and those little stones at the bottom of her feet. I wanted to make it on something other than a card...so I made an accordion folder. I found the instructions on Split Coast Stampers here.
here's what it looks like once it's opened. I made only two dividers so that it wouldn't be too crowded. I used pretty embossed DP for my accordion folder. You should use thicker paper so that your folder is a little more sturdy. If not you can always use CS and then layer it with DP. I also used my MS border punch and baby breath spritz.
So if you like what you see...go and check out the Stamp and Create blog for all the other lovely creations from the DT...Chris, Jeanette, Lacey and GT Heidi and Vicki.

Tamiko's Thursday Teaser...Altered Image on a 3-D project

...JADE...
Happy Thursday everyone! Welcome to another Tamiko's Thursday Teaser! This Thursday we are to use an altered image from TGF on a 3-D project. But we also are offering up a challenge to you! yup...if you think that this sounds like fun and this is just your speed...then come join us! All you have to do is to use an altered image (using two images or change something) from TGF on a 3-D project or card. go to Tamiko's blog and enter your creation! As you can see...I altered Jade's eyes. I used one of the other Wild Sprouts to do that. Jade is from the Roll Call kit. this took me a few tries to get it right where I wanted it. I sparkled her all up with the Tsukineko sparkle spray and colored her with my copics.
I put her on a box that I created and it's just like a pizza box. I found this pretty DP from J's. I thought this would be perfect for what I wanted to create. I cut Jade out, used my circle nesties, added some ribbon and of course a flower.
here's what my box looks like once it's opened up...you can fill it with goodies and give it away as a gift. So you may be asking...what are the measurements...well, if I can remember what it is...it's a 6 3/4" x 12" CS. the long way you will score @ 1", 5 1/2", 6 1/2" and 11". then you will score the other side @ 1" and then flip and score @ 1". then you will cut the score lines for those little tabs on the side, so you can tape the down. decorate to your liking and you are done!
now go and make your own! have a wonderful Thursday! Stop by Tamiko's blog to see all the other ladies and their wonderful creations! This is where you will enter for the challenge as well. If you want to purchase all these cuties, you can go to Tamiko's online store and shop! if you buy $25 or more, it's free shipping!

Happy Birthday Sets...

...DANDELION CUTIES...
Happy Hump Day everyone...I haven't been feeling all to well, so I am slacking on posting on time! Well, I made a couple "Joy" fold cards that was taught to me by Teri a while back. I really enjoy making these. I turned it into a mini shaker card. I used this cute mouse from Whipper Snapper. I got all my pretty DP from Tamiko's. I added the flower to keep the flap closed.
here's what it looks like when the flaps are opened up. I added a card behind this one so that all the players on the co-ed team could sign. this little area was too small.
this is one of the sets I gave as a gift for their birthday. I made them a checkbook cover w/ pen and a mini composition book w/ pen too.
here's the other set...her favorite color is green...I tried to used the same DP for everything, but I ran out of this DP...so the card is different. I fell in love with these dandelion cuties and you know me...just had to have them!
wishing these two a wonderful and happy birthday! they are two years and one day apart! but they are totally like twins...lol! One is today 9-15 and the other is 9-16.

“all of us are joining in to say, that May the year which your birthday begins, brings all the special things, that mean the most to you!”

Graduation & 3 Tag Swap...

...GRADUATION IAN...
Here's to another Friday! I have so many things to share with you. I made a graduation card for Linda's son who just graduated from Kaiser High School...the colors are blue and gold. This cute sentiment is from SU. I used graduation Ian from TGF for the image (he is a digi). I didn't want to use too much ribbon and bling as this was for a boy.
I also participated in the 3 tag swap that Kyoko is hosting. It is a great idea so that when Christmas rolls around...I will have some tags to use on my presents =) here's what I came up with...I used my Christmas snowflakes & inks from SU, red bling and added a sentiment.
we are to make 3 identical tags.
if you are interested in participating, please stop by Kyoko's blog for all the deets!
have a great weekend everyone!
thank you as always for stopping by, leaving me wonderful comments and making my day! your kind words are always appreciated!

Bugaboo Birthday...

...BUGABOO IMAGES...
Happy Hump day everyone! So, one of my dear friends asked me if I could make a card for her niece who's turning 13 years old and her favorite colors are blue & purple. She also likes soccer and is a bit of a tomboy. Oh no! I am not good at these kinds of cards (the kind that are on the spot). I had to think about what I wanted to do. I knew I had soccer DP, so that was what I was going to use and then I remembered I have cute bugaboo images that are perfect for birthdays. here's what I came up with...
I actually decorated the inside of my card...lol! I added one more bugaboo image and a sweet sentiment on the side...just so there would be enough room to write if she wanted to.I hope you all are enjoying your week! I haven't returned to work just yet. just trying to recover from all that playing of soccer! oh and btw...we are the CHAMPIONS for the Maui soccer co-ed tournament 2010. woo-hoo! thanks for stopping by!

12 x 12 Tote...

...GOOD-BYE GIFT...
Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone is excited for the long Labor Day weekend! I will be in Maui playing a soccer co-ed tournament. Wish me luck! lol! Well, yesterday I featured my pink, green and brown card and so I wanted to share with you the other things I made for one of the law clerk's who left. I wanted to make her a lei...pink and brown and wanted to give her some other goodies to go with it. I didn't want to just give it to her in a plastic bag, so I decided to make a little purse that I learned from 1LuvnMama.
here is what my purse looked like. It's one sheet of 12" x 12" DP. I used my MS border punch, PTI ribbon for the handles and added a flower and sentiment.
here's how much space there is when the purse is opened...
Okay everyone...enjoy and be safe!
